TAG - The Chase Game

Mornings are for hot tea or coffee and giving yourself a little more snooze that you wish you did. The sight of her waiting in the elevator door, gives you that fluttery nervous stomach feeling. Avoiding her won't help your situation as you are almost five minutes late. You've waited with her and let her in before you do. You step backward to give yourself some space as she stood in the middle. Checking the way she dressed, her scent you thought she spills in her dress that is too strong that makes you feel lightheaded and the length of her hair, it agitates you. The people who keep on coming in and out from each floor ends up standing side by side with her. She is giving you a snobbish kind of feel that you don't like.

When you reach the floor, you both stepped forward that gave her a reason to looked at you. Her face changed and gave you that familiar kind of look the first time you see her too, an envious look when she gets a clear view of the woman that intimidates her the moment you step in the elevator. On that moment, somehow you felt superior. As soon as the elevator door opens, both Jungkook and Jimin who is on his right, looked surprised seeing you both on the same picture, side by side. You changed your gaze to the person in front of you, who is staring straight to your eyes trying to read and see some reaction to it, but only received a cold, straight look. She, noticed where Jungkook's eyes where, it was not on her but with the woman beside her. She figured; it might be you she wanted to meet.

"Kookie" she called him. That is only when he turned his eyes on her. She stepped out and gave him a hug. A hug that is obviously trying to put an act in front of you. You both looked at each other, he is trying to say something with his eyes, yet you keep the same look as you are to him before. You bow slightly and show some lofty behavior leaving them on the scene pretending you don't care.

"Rei" Jimin called her.

"Hi Jimin", you greeted back faking a smile then walked straight inside. Jimin followed.

"What is that for?" Jungkook asked her.

"So, it's her?" she asked stepping back and look into his eyes. He only looked down and grab her inside the elevator and push the button down to the lobby.

"Don't be mad, I'm just curious, I just wanted to meet her" she explains.

"For what reason Nancy?" he asked furious.

"I just..."

"To prove yourself what? Now that you see her, does it help you?" he cuts her off while getting out of the elevator.

"She's pretty and I'm jealous" she childishly says.

He is trying to stay nice to her but brining Rei as the subject builds a wall around him to protect her.

"It's just strange to see you look at me like this" she said sadly.

"If you don't have anything to say in particular, I'll leave now" he said coldly.

"I missed you so much, don't you see me the same way anymore?" she asked

"I thought I made myself clear. I meant it when I said that I'll forget everything when I left New York. What happened there stays there and nothing more."

"You need me Jungkook, I'm the only one who can satisfy your needs. I fulfill your fantasies" she said proudly.

"I think you need me more than I need you. Stop being delusional Nancy" he responded.

"You can't just discard me Jungkook" she said trying to convince him.

"I can and you exactly know why" he said looking angry at her. She gulped and looked down accepting the fact that he is right.
