Hewo, a bit early here, but I just wanted to let you guys know there is a possibly triggering scene soon so I will be putting a warning before that so you know when to skip it. See you at the enddd!
Brian's POV-
No. No, no, no, no, no! We can't lose them! No! Mike and Reese just screamed. They know. Our enemies know.
"BRIAN! GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE NOW!" Ariana shouted. I thought someone had hurt them too. Gosh, I'm an idiot, they wouldn't let anyone get close to them. I was running upstairs when I heard gunshots. I was on the verge of tears at this point.
When I saw Ariana and Alexander I was immediately relieved, just a bit. I hugged them and they seemed scared. Something's wrong. They never show emotion.
"Guys..?" I immediately started panicking. Where are Reese and Mike??
"Brian, you need to calm down. We'll never be able to save them unless we stay calm," Alex said. How does he know what he's doing? Ari is so calm. I know better than that though.
"Why aren't you guys showing emotion? Aren't you scared? DO YOU EVEN CARE?!" I shouted at them. I immediately felt terrible. I shouldn't take my anger out on them.
"We know you don't mean that Brian, you just need to calm down," someone said. I couldn't tell. I could hardly breathe.
I started hyperventilating.
Ha! You'll never be able to save them!
Even your little siblings are better than you!
"Brian! I'm Ari, remember? You have to breathe! Breathe! In! Out! In! Out!" Ari was guiding me through this panic attack. It wasn't working.
"Focus on your heartbeat Brian. How many fingers am I holding up?" I opened my eyes to see a panicked Ari and Alex.
She motioned for Alex to do something. I only felt a slight sting and then everything went black.
Alexander's POV-
Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh! Seeing Brian have a panic attack is terrible. Is this what I looked like? She handed me a syringe and told me to stick him when she told me to.
"Brian? Brian! You have to calm down!" Ari said with just enough force in her voice, he couldn't hear her. It's like she read my mind.
"Brian! You have to calm down!" Ari couldn't get a hold of him. She brought him to her chest where she could hold him. She gestured for me to stick him after she calmed him down a bit. When I injected the syringe into his neck, he immediately blacked out.
"Ari! How the heck did you know how to do that??" I asked. Heck, why didn't I think that when she was helping me?
"Not now Alex!" Ari said. Why?
"Right now we have to worry about getting our brothers back!" She exclaimed. As much as I hate to say it, she's right. This is one of the only times I've seen her have emotions. She was about to cry. I know because I feel the same way.
"Okay, what's the plan?" I asked her. She won't have the answer to this.
"If this is really our enemies, then they will call us, threatening us. Then, I can track the call which will lead to the person who called. I don't think they're dumb enough to call where our brothers are being help captive. So, we torture the person for information and kill him/her if they give us the wrong place after they give us the right place. Any questions?" Ari said. I was taken aback. Maybe she does have the answer then. Unless something goes wrong. Or something unanticipated happens.
I shook my head as I really didn’t have any questions. She explained it perfectly. Brian woke up after a few minutes and Ari explained the plan.
Brian's POV-
"How do you know that they will call?" I asked.
"If you researched your enemies, which are also ours, if it's who I think it is. Their 'trademark' is to call after one hour. It's been forty-six and a half minutes. So, we wait," she explained. I was stunned. She thought this out…like a true leader. Maybe after I step down from my position from the Mafia, I’ll ask her and Alex to be the Don and Donna. Or one is the Don/Donna and then assistants.
After about fifteen minutes of devising our plan they called. Wow, she was right.
"We have your brothers. We won't give them back. But, we have a deal in mind," we could basically hear his sinister smirk through the phone.
"What is this 'deal'?" Ari asked, her and Alex’s eyebrows furrowing in confusion. This isn’t what she said would happen.
"You, little girl, have to beat my strongest man in hand-to-hand combat," he said as he started laughing. Alex and Ari were communicating through their eyes, calculating silently.
"We have a deal," Alex said as my eyes widened. How is she going to beat their strongest man?
"See you underground. You have half an hour to prepare. Goodbye," he spoke harshly, hanging up.
"How are you supposed to beat him?" I asked. I was furious… I was scared. I won’t be able to forgive myself if she gets hurt.
"Hey! She is really strong!" Alex defended as she rolled her eyes.
"It's okay, let him think what he wants. He's just another misogynistic Mafia Boss," she said on the verge of tears from laughing so hard as Alex started laughing too. I was dumbfounded.
"I'm not misogynistic! I'm just worried about you!" I said, trying to defend myself.
Key word: trying.
"Okay, then answer this question. Would you be worried about Alex if he had to fight?" She asked, batting her eyelashes. She does that when she knows she has a point.
"Mhm. That's what I thought," Alex and Ari said at the same time.
I was sitting there, confounded. It’s annoying how tough she is. It’s not surprising… I mean, she’s a Realano.
Hi agaaiinnnnn! I know, these intros keep getting weirder and weirder. The next is gonna be extra weird. :)
How are ya doin' today?
Have an amazing day my peeps! <3
