Detectives Pt. 2

Old Gotham, 1:46 A.M 10/27/2017, The Clock Tower

Alfred comes on the batfamilys comms

Alfred:
"There's been an explosion at Tricorner Yard, Whitlock Warehouse number three."

Batman:
"Batgirl, go check it out, Robin, go to the Iceberg Lounge and wait for me, I need information."

Batgirl glides of the top of the clock tower down towards tricorner Yard. She sees the building on the docks engulfed in flames, Firefighters trying there absolute best to put it out

Batgirl (in comms):
"When did Oswald become a goddamn terrorist?"

Batman (in comms):
"He didn't, Oswald didn't do this, not directly, but he might know who did. Continue your investigation Barbara, see if you can find anything that tells us who this terrorist is."

Batgirl (in comms):
"Sir yes sir."

Batgirl glides down to the docks, running past all the firefighters directly into the burning and decaying warehouse. She spots some of the dead bodies of the goons, including the hanging one, who has now become a floor decoration. Once she saw everything, she ran out of the burning building just seconds before it collapse on itself. She grappled to a nearby and very tall building

Batgirl (in comms):
"4 Dead bodies spotted, 2 on the upper level of the warehouse, both dead to their own gun, and 2 on the lower level. One with his skull crushed, and one splattered on the floor. Who ever did this is skilled and got information out of these boys before killing them. Joker goons but it looks like a previous penguin operation."

Batman (in comms):
"We had a chat with Cobblepot, he claims he doesn't know who did this."

Batgirl (in comms):
"And you believe him?"

Batman (in comms):
"I do, he wouldn't cause such a commotion so close to the lounge, whoever did this wanted Cobblepot blamed, and some type of information with the Joker. Did you see what caused the explosion?"

Batgirl (in comms):
"From what i can tell, a type of remote control C4, pretty strong, probably military grade."

Batman (in comms):
"Alfred, compile a list of possible suspects, we'll meet back at the cave once patrol is over. For now, everyone get back to work."

Bristol County, 5:15 AM 10/27/22, The Batcave

Tim and Steph went to bed after patrol, Bruce and Barbara are looking into possible suspects

Barbara:
"Alright Al, who do you got for us to track down this time?"

Alfred:
"Alright, after thorough research, i have narrowed it down to 4 main suspects. The Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot, The Joker, Two-Face aka Harvey Dent, Red Hood aka Jason Todd."

Bruce:
"It's not Cobblepot, I know that for a fact, he wouldn't do this."

Barbara:
"The Joker as a suspect?? it was his operation, why would he blow it all up?"

Alfred:
"It's the Joker we're talking about here Miss Gordon, he is known to be rather, well, unpredictable."

Barbara:
"And Jason? I mean i get it, he is a crime lord now, but man it feels like yesterday we were sparing partners always trying to one up each other."

Bruce:
"He's a killer and a serious threat to this city. You said the kills took skill, he has it, you said it was military grade c4, he has it, you said they got information out of Joker goons, he always wants information about Joker."

Barbara:
"So you think Jason did this?"

Bruce:
"..."

Barbara:
"Then that's that, tonight we'll go after Jason, and the kids can go after Harvey. Tonight we found out who's behind this."

Bruce:
"Al, find Two-Face, i'll find Jason."
