Third Person POV:

Y/N laid down in bed as the day went on. He was enjoying the brief quiet that was in the base for the day. Captain Yami had given the Black Bulls the day off to spend as they wanted. He himself went back to the gambling den to loose his money. Asta had been excited to go into town to spend the money he had earned, but was disappointed when Y/N stated that he would stay at the base instead. It wasn't that he didn't want to go. He just felt tired and needed to rest.

Y/N walked around the base to be better acquainted. He had seen most of it during the tour that Magna had given, but there were still some parts that were a mystery to him. He placed his hand on the walls as he walked. After a few minutes, he suddenly started to feel weaker. It was as if though the magic was being stolen from his body. Y/N decided to head back to his own room.

It was weird that the base seemed to change its layout at random times. It did not seem to be something that was set up by the captain, since he seemed to get upset by the changes as much as the rest of them. That meant that the shifting was probably caused by something else. Y/N hummed to himself, "I guess that I can just ask the Captain why the building's layout seems to change everyday, but I doubt that he'd actually tell me. Though, he might tell me if I give him money. Knowing him, he'll probably lose it all in gambling. Maybe someone else knows." The boy continued to walk around the base. He occasionally managed to come across one of the occupied rooms belonging to the other members of the Black Bulls. It seemed that they had all left in such a rush that they had left the doors open. That made sense since it seemed that there was no one else, so they probably thought that no one would look into their rooms. Y/N decided to take a peak into their rooms to get a better idea of what the other Black Bulls were like. Gauche's room was filled with pictures of his little sister, which was expected. Gordon's room had a bunch of scary looking items, including some dolls that looked like the Black Bulls. Finral had the cleanest room, with nothing out of place. The only thing that caught his attention was that there was a picture of a young woman on the desk. She didn't look like a Magic Knight. Y/N thought to himself, 'Maybe someone that he knew? Well, it's his business. Best not to bother him.' Y/N continued to walk until he reached the Captain's room. Immediately, he turned around, already afraid of what he would see and smell in the room.

A few more minutes of walking and Y/N found himself back at his room. He decided that he would just wait for the others to return. He entered the room and sat at his desk, "Guess I should use the time to write a letter back home." He took out a pen and paper and started writing back to the church about the events of the mission, making sure to brisk over the parts where Asta got injured.

Time Skip (Several Hours):

"Y/N? Y/N?" The boy opened his eyes as he heard his name being called. He turned to see who was calling him and saw Asta leaning in close to him. The two boys blushed as Asta stepped a few feet away. Asta stammered, "Uh, uh, um, dinner's ready. I just came to get you." Y/N sighed and got up, "I see. Thanks Asta." The silver haired boy smiled, "No problem. Let's go." The H/C boy nodded and put away his letter before following Asta.
