Chapter Four

"That night, other than you and Taeri, who else was with you?" You sat in front of Mina in her office. She wanted to negotiate with you about the actual situation that happened three months ago, unlike last time when you couldn't explain your part to anyone since Taehyung straight forwardly filled a case against you, accusing you as the real murderer of Taeri.

Well, you cannot blame him completely. Everyone believes what they see. The only thing about him that upsetted you was that he didn't trust you even for a second. He didn't let you explain anything to him. He even loathed to see your face.

"That night, Taeri got a call from her aunt, saying Taehyung was drunk in a bar. That day Taeri and I were studying in the library for our upcoming exams. When she got the call from her aunt, she was very worried. I mean, any sister would be worried for her brother when she gets to know that he's drunk." You shrugged explaining everything to Mina who attentively listened to you and recorded your statement.

"What happened next?" She asked, entwining her fingers on the table seperating the two of you.

"Then, we drove to the said Club in Taeri's car. I accompanied Taeri because, I had seen Taehyung once when he was drunk, he is really hard to control so I willingly went with her. When we reached there, Taehyung was indeed drunk. Actually, a day before Taeri's death, his monthly exam's results came and Taeri told me that his father wasn't very happy with Taehyung's results. They argued a lot and Taehyung didn't go to his home that night. He slept at one of his friend's house. Next day, he didn't attended the class too. I and Taeri kept calling him but he didn't picked up. Then, by the evening, we got the call from his mother and then we went to the bar. He was really very drunk and was crying. Taeri too started crying after seeing him in such a condition. I remember I and Taeri took him till the car but then suddenly her phone rang. She talked to the person and then told me I should take Taehyung to his home, and she has something urgent to attend. I didn't think it would be anything serious so I took Taehyung with me…."

Seeing you suddenly hesitating to continue, Mina wrinkled her brows and asked, "What's wrong?" You shook your head looking here and there awkwardly, while Mina didn't failed to notice the tinge of red covering your face.

"When you took Taehyung with you, what happened there Y/n?" You looked up at her pursed your lips, fiddling with your fingers before answering her, "That night… he… he confessed to me." Your eyes brimmed up with the sudden rememberance of that night.

*Flashback*

"Yah Kim Taehyung! For god's sake! Do you even know how much heavy you are? Stop leaning on me! In driving!" You pouted and glared at Taehyung who was practically clinging to your arm while you were driving him home.

"Min.. Min Y/n.." he mumbled your name, his rosy and warm lips brushing against your arm as he leaned over you while you were driving.

You tilted your head to glance at him but then quickly looked back at the dark road ahead of you.

"Taehyung! Please sit still! My driving skills aren't good…" You pushed him slightly with your shoulder and continued to look ahead.

"Y/n… you listen… listen to me.." Taehyung starightend himself on his seat and glanced at you before suddenly chuckling. "Yah! Why are you laughing like a maniac now? You have been giving me so much trouble but see! I'm still helping you! You should kneel in front of me to show your gratitude!" You brabbled while he calmly listened to you, leaning his head against the passenger seat, his glistening drunk eyes staring at you with sparkly glint in them.
"I should really kneel in front of you…" his sudden interruption caused you to glance at him confusedly. "What do you mean now?" You narrowed your eyes and looked at him while occasionally glancing at the clear road ahead.
"I meant… I should kneel in front of you… and confess…" you blinked your eyes as your heart suddenly started beating fastly. While you were still trying to understand the meaning behind his words, he chuckled again before unbuckling his seatbelt and leaning towards you.
