Chapter Six

"You… you knew?" You gasped and stared at him unbelievably. If he already knew that it wasn't you who killed Taeri then why did he behaved like that with you? He almost killed you! Even after knowing that you had done nothing?!!

You gritted your teeths and raised your hand to slap him but abruptly stopped when he lowered his head and closed his eyes, as if silently surrendering.

Your heart thudded inside your chest. You hated the way your heart still loves him and hurts after seeing him bowing his head.

Your raised hand that was about to slap him, clenched into a fist and you looked away from him, angry on him, while more angry on yourself for not being able to overcome your feelings.

"You can slap me if you want." With that, Taehyung stepped in front of you and again lowered the side of his face towards you.

"Slapping you won't be enough for what you have done to me!" You gritted your teeths after staring at his cheek before again looking away. Taehyung sighed and kept his head lowered, probably feeling ashamed for distrusting you.

"I didn't knew that it wasn't you. Actually, that night when you came to tell me it was my parents who killed Taeri, I happened to hear a conversation between my parents…" you stared at Taehyung, while he slowly raised his lashes to look up at you and sigh.

"They said-"

*Flashback*

"What is your fvcking problem Kim Kyujin! Our problem is solved! Taeri has died and that girl was blamed for Taeri's murder! Even if the court let her out for a month, why didn't you just rusticate her? Why did you let her in the college again?" Taehyung's mother, Mrs. Kim Minjie glared at her husband who shook his head irritatedly.

"I cannot restrict her just like that! She's a student and a students holds a big power in their hands! Just because you want, I cannot break my rules! Besides, she has gain a lot of attention in few months, if we don't take her in college again then the media will make another dramatic news about our University. Do you want that to happen?" Kim Kyujin glared at his wife who sighed and sat on the bed.

"And why are you even worrying about her? We already got what we wanted. And she won't be able to find out that it was us who got her and Taehyung in accident that night. She has no clue that we planned everything. Taeri is dead, Taehyung doesn't knows anything about it too, no one else will be able to tell her anything and after this month,
she will eventually go back to jail, for life-impresonment. Just calm down and let's celebrate that we finally don't have any obstacles in our way. This huge property, Everything that belonged to us is with us now!" Kyujin hugged his wife who smirked at him and nodded her head.

*Flashback Ends*

You gasped, covering your mouth as you stared at Taehyung who looked rather embarassed after telling you about what he witnessed. "See! Didn't I told you that it was your parents who killed Taeri and you still-"

"Shhh!" Taehyung shushed you, keeping his index finger on his lips while his eyes fixated on you. You pursed your lips, thinking in mind how you hated the way he still has that domineering aura on you and you always ends up being his submissive. "First let me complete." Taehyung spoke and again took you to his flashbacks of what he heard.

"When they were celebrating Taeri's death, my mind woke up and I happen to record what they were saying." Taehyung pulled out his mobile and showed you a video.

"But, still, you know, if someone, somehow finds out that it was us who planned Taeri's murder, don't you think we will be in trouble. No matter how much money we have, we can't always buy the law." Taehyung's mother rested her head on her husband's chest, sipping her wine in a very elegant manner.
