17: The Send-Off

KATY POV

I woke up to the sound of footsteps outside. I opened my eyes and adjusted my thoughts. The boys are leaving today. I jumped out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I didn't look disgusting. Then, I walked outside and saw all of them doing last minute packing. Aish, these boys.

"Yah! Why are you guys packing now?!" I asked and they all looked at me.

"We fell asleep. Oops." Namjoon said and I rolled my eyes.

"Ugh, hurry up. I'll make breakfast." I said. They nodded and I sprinted into the kitchen. I quickly took out the eggs and bacon and started cooking. After 15 minutes, they were done packing, so I gave them their breakfast and they gobbled it down. After they ate, we all went into the living room and sat down on the couch.

"What time are you guys leaving?" I asked.

"7:00 am." Jhope said. I looked at the clock. 6:50 am. I sighed.

"Hey, don't worry, we will be back in no time!" Taehyung said and I smiled and nodded. Then suddenly, I heard someone behind me say,

"Jagi, can I talk to you for a second?" I turned around and faced Jungkook, who was waiting for me to follow him. I nodded and followed him into my room.

"What did you need to talk about?" I asked as soon as the door was closed behind me. Jungkook's back was facing me, and he froze when I asked that. He stayed silent.

"Jungkook?" I asked. Still silent. I grabbed his arm and turned him around. Although the second I did, he pulled me into his embrace. My eyes widened.

"Ju-Jungkook!" I said, trying to pull away, but he tightened his grip.

"Just stay like this for a while... please." He pleaded. I relaxed.

"O-Okay." I said. It was then silent. We stayed like that for about five minutes. Then, I started to pull away again.

"Jungkook, are you okay?" I asked. His hands slowly went from my back down to my waste. He had his head down, so I took his chin and lifted his head.

"I don't want to leave you." He said. I smiled.

"Yah, it's only for a week, don't worry it will go by really quickly!" I said, trying to make him feel better.

"Ya, but for a week, I won't be able to see you, touch you, or talk to you in person. I don't think I could handle that." He said, sadly. I giggled.

"Yah pabo, you will be fine. I'll miss you too." I said. Although even after I said that, he still looked sad, so I got on my tippy toes and kissed his cheek.

"I love you." I said. Jungkook then took a step towards me and kissed me on the lips. The kiss lasted for a little while before we broke apart to catch our breaths.

"I love you too... so much." He said. That melted my heart. Then, we were interrupted by the words we didn't want to hear.

"Jungkook! It's time to go!" Suga called out.

"What? Already? No!" Jungkook said, hugging me again. What has gotten into him?

"Jungkook, you have to go." I said, slowly making my way out of his embrace. Then, I grabbed his hand and led him outside. We walked to the rest of BTS outside of the dorm. All of them were already in the van, waiting for Jungkook.

"Okay, bye Oppa, I'll miss you." I said, pushing Jungkook in the car. Jungkook looked at me with sad eyes. "Hey, lighten up! Go make me proud okay?" I said and he gave me a weak smile and nod. I smiled back. Then, I slowly let go of his hand and closed the door. After I did, Jimin rolled down the window.

"Bye Katy! See you in a week!" He said. Then all of them said bye as they drove off, while I was just standing there, waving at them, and watching them disappear. See you in a week.

JUNGKOOK POV

I stayed quiet as we drove to our first stop.

"Yah, Jungkook, why are you so down this morning?" Jimin hyung asked. I sighed.

"I didn't want to leave Katy." I said. The hyungs looked at each other, then back at me.

"She isn't going to disappear Jungkook, don't worry." Namjoon hyung said.

"What if her parents call and tell her to come back home? What if she leaves before we get back?" I asked, full of worry. They shook their heads.

"That won't happen, calm down okay? She is going to stay with us for a while so don't worry about it." Taehyung hyung said. I took a deep breath.

"Your right. She is going to stay with us for a long, long time." I said, trying to convince myself. For the rest of the ride it was silent. Suga hyung was writing in his journal, Namjoon hyung was practicing his English and Japanese, Jhope hyung and Taehyung hyung were asleep, Jimin hyung was listening to music, Jin hyung was watching a drama, and I was just looking out of the window, thinking of Katy. The time we had left to be together worried me. I can't even dare to dream about the day she had to leave. My eyes teared up at the thought of her leaving. Katy, you have to stay with me for a very long time. You have to. For the rest of the ride, I closed my eyes and relaxed. That day can't come for a long time. I can't let it. I won't let it.
