37: Talking To Jin

KATY POV

"Where have you been?!" Jungkook asked me. I gulped.

"I... uh... went out for a walk!" I said, trying to sound convincing. I added in a smile, and that seemed to soften him a bit.

"Oh, okay, well don't do that again without telling me first! You have no idea what could happen to you when you're out there alone. Next time, I will walk with you. Okay? Do you even know how scared I got when I woke up and you weren't here!" Jungkook scolded. Relieved that he believed me, I took a deep breath.

"Okay, I'm sorry..." I said. Then, he smiled and he hugged me.

"Hey, Jagi, do you want to go out on a date today?" He asked me. I smiled widely and nodded my head.

"I would love to." I said.

"Okay, I'll go get ready, give me a few minutes." He said and I nodded. Then, Jungkook left to get ready and as soon as I saw him leave, I sprinted into Jin's room and I woke him up.

"Jin!" I whispered, shaking him.

"Hmm? Oh, hey Katy, what's wrong?" He asked, gaining consciousness.

"I need to talk to you, let's go to my room to talk." I said. He nodded and followed me. When we were in my room, I closed the door and we sat down on my bed.

"Okay, what is it?" Jin asked, concerned. I took a deep breath.

"This morning, I went to Keena's house." I began.

"What!" Jin yelled.

"SSH!" I whispered. He understood my manner and he apologized.

"Why did you go there?" He then asked quietly.

"Yesterday, she texted me to come to her house today alone. When I did, she told me to stay away from Jungkook, or else she was going to drop the BTS label." I explained. Jin rolled his eyes.

"Ugh, she used that one again?" He asked and I nodded.

"Although that's not all. Her dad walked in on us talking and... I think HE was the person who kidnapped me! His voice was exactly the same as the kidnapper's and he even knew my name without me telling him. He tried to make an excuse to shake it off, but I don't believe him. He's too suspicious." I said. Jin's eyes widened.

"What? That makes no sense though. Why would HE kidnap you?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I didn't have a chance to talk to him alone." I said. He shook his head.

"Katy, he could be dangerous, so if you ever see him again, be careful. Oh, and I need to give you something, wait here for a second." Jin said. Then, he walked out of the room and came back a minute later, holding something in his hand. He closed the door behind him as he came in and he walked over to me.

"This is a recorder. If you ever get a chance to talk to him, record what he says just in case he reveals or confesses something." He said, handing it to me. I took it and looked at it.

"Okay, but what-" I started, but I was interrupted when Jungkook opened the door. Although I quickly hid the recorder in my pocket before Jungkook could see it.

"What are you two doing in here?" Jungkook asked.

"Nothing, I just wanted to ask him to make breakfast for the rest of the members since we are going out on a date." I said. Then, I turned to Jin with pleading eyes and he nodded.

"I got it covered. You two can go on ahead." Jin said, although it sounded like he was hurt to say those words.

"Thanks hyung." Jungkook said. Then, he turned to me again.

"Ready to go jagi?" He asked and I nodded and followed him out of the room. Although before we were completely out of sight, I turned around and mouthed 'thank you' to Jin and he smiled and nodded back. Then, Jungkook and I walked out of the dorm, holding hands.

JUNGKOOK POV

I walked out of the bathroom after I took a shower and brushed my teeth, and I saw Jin hyung walking into Katy's room and closing the door. What are they doing in there? I walked over to the door and I tried to listen to their conversation, but I couldn't hear anything. After a while, I got frustrated, so I opened the door and walked in.

"What are you two doing in here?" I asked them. I have to admit, I know Katy is MY girlfriend, but seeing them together just makes my heart hurt. Jin hyung, she's already mine!

"Nothing, I just wanted to ask him to make breakfast for the rest of the members since we are going out on a date." Katy explained. I felt my heart relax. Yeah, that's it. That is all they were doing, talking. Calm down Jungkook.

"I got it covered. You two can go on ahead." Jin hyung said.

"Thanks hyung." I said. Then, I turned to Katy. "Ready to go jagi?" I asked her. She nodded and followed me. Then, I held her hand and we walked out of the dorm together. I will never let Jin hyung take you away from me Katy. NEVER.

JIN POV

"I got it covered. You two can go on ahead." I said, trying to sound encouraging. Although deep inside, it hurt my heart to see the two of them together.

"Thanks hyung." Jungkook said. Yeah yeah, just take care of her, pabo.

"Ready to go jagi?" He asked Katy. Those words stabbed my heart. I know it had been a while since Jungkook started calling Katy jagi, but every time I hear him say it, it sounds like it's the first. Then, I watched as Katy and Jungkook walked out of the room, although before they disappeared, Katy turned around and mouthed 'thank you' to me. I couldn't help but to smile and nod, so that's what I did. Although it didn't last, as I watched as Katy and Jungkook walk out together, holding hands.
