T O M
He walked confidently through the busy corridors, not moving out the way for anyone. Instead, everyone moved out the way for him and perhaps, it was because he was a prefect, or it may have been because he had his signature cold, icy glare planted on his face. Tom went through the great hall doors and scanned the room for familiar faces; however, all his followers were sat around the Ravenclaw table instead of the Slytherin one. Most students were either glaring or curiously peeping at the odd merge of people centered in the middle of the hall. Tom walked over to them and looked at Estelle beaming happily and laughing uncontrollably.
Her enticing eyes met his. "Tom!" she excitedly shouted. "I saved a seat for you."
He looked down to see her indicating to the space next to her. "How kind of you love". Tom chuckled as he sat next to her and lazily leaned against the rough table.
"Happy birthday Estelle." Jas exclaimed as she handed a yellow, fluorescent bag to Estelle.
She opened it and within it was an exquisite red dress that sinched around the centre. "This is so pretty." Estelle gasped and hugged her friend tight. "Thank you".
"Okay fuck off Jas, it's our turn." Dolohov joked while handing Estelle a big brown box. "From all of us," he said as Nott, Lestrange, Avery and Rosier all smirked.
"The look on your faces are making me scared," she replied while loosening the bow that bonded the box shut. Once she did get it open, there was a random assortment of fire whisky, chocolate frogs, every flavored beans and finally a small potion." Estelle held it up and looked at the gold liquid that shimmered within the bottle. "Don't tell me it's..."
"YES, IT'S LIQUID LUCK."
"WHAT THE FUCK. HOW DID YOU GET THIS!"
"We have our ways." Rosier winked as all of them laughed manically.
"You scare me." Jas stated as she ate her cereal.
"I second that", Estelle whispered to Jas. "Anyways thank you guys."
She turned towards him with a smile. "Tom the ring looks amazing on me, doesn't it?" she asked as she brought her hand up and waved it in front of his face.
Tom chuckled. "Of course it does. I gave it to you."
"Die."
"Woah calm down love, it would be foolish to let such a handsome face die- am i correct." He mocked her words from the first time they met." Tom smirked as he twirled her hair around his finger. "Actually, I have a favor to ask you."
"And why would i help you after you just mocked me?" Estelle mirrored his smirk.
"Because you love me."
"You are delusional. However, I'll help you if you return the favor?"
Tom nodded in response. "Meet me near the stairs on the 7th floor at 10?"
---
He waited for her near the old paintings, resting his head against the cold wall. His hand reached for the bottle of black liquid in his pocket and fortunately it did seem to help him a bit, however the side effects seemed to have reached his face, especially the dark circles that rested prominently under his eyes. Tom brought it up to his lips and let the vile liquid slide down his throat. He felt her presence behind him and quickly shoved the now empty bottle back into his pocket. "Took your fucking time."
"Someone is cranky," she responded with a laugh. "Anyways why did you ask me to come to the 7th floor? Are you going to murder me?" She joked.
"I wouldn't kill you in school would i? That would be stupid because with one scream i bet one teacher would find me killing you. I wouldn't want to spend my life in Azkaban, instead i would lure you into the dark forest and bury your remains, so that no one could ever find it," Tom's lips etched into a malicious smirk. "And to answer your previous question, I want to show you something."
Estelle walked towards him and grabbed his tie so that she could force him down to her level. "What makes you think you could kill me Riddle," she whispered. "Have you ever seen me fight? Or even cast a spell? How can you know for sure that you could kill me when you haven't worked out what your opponent can do yet? It's best not to underestimate me Tom because I would hate to prove you wrong." She let go of him and laughed at his slightly shocked expression. "Now why don't you lead the way."
Tom grabbed her hand and guided her through the dark corridors. "I expect a dual from you now Estelle", he amusingly replied as he stopped her in front of a grand door she had never seen before.
"I've never seen this door before and i've been here a thousand times."
"I was never going to show anyone this, but I guess you don't just count as anyone anymore." Tom opened the door and then closed the door behind them. "Welcome to the room of requirement Harper."
She looked around mesmerized. Her eyes darted around, fixating first on the heaps of books that surrounded the dark green couch, which was illuminated by the blazing fire. "I thought the room of requirement was a myth."
Tom sat down on the couch and adjusted his position. He caught her staring at him. "Want to sit down here darling?" he spoke as he pointed to his lap.
"No." Estelle sat down on the floor and picked up the books that surrounded her. Before she could read the title, Tom snatched it from her hands. "The fuck is wrong with you."
"Ouch. Your words hurt me so much." He mockingly grabbed his chest. "Also, are you forgetting we came here because i needed something from you."
She sat down next to him and draped her legs over his. "So, tell me what it is then?"
"Can you teach me how to do the Patronus charm?"
"Is the amazing Tom Riddle asking me to help him? Wow I feel blessed."
He grabbed her legs and pulled her down, so she was lying on the couch. He climbed on top of her and grabbed her throat, so she was looking straight at him. "Stop before you regret it."
"Have I ever listened to you?" Estelle grabbed onto his shoulders and gently pulled him forward. Her arms instinctively wrapped around him as he planted a kiss on her forehead.
"I guess not."
"Don't worry. I'll help you but like i said before you owe me one Riddle."
"Fine." Before she could even respond, he smashed his lips onto hers and planted small kisses down her throat and towards the exposed skin above her shirt. "I think i'll enjoy you teaching me," he said while pulling away from her with a sinful smirk.
"So where should we start?" she asked him.
"We'll start in a bit." Tom grabbed her waist and lifted her, so she was on his lap. "Now give me some extra motivation love."
He was too busy to hear but the distant voice whispered something before withering away- 'everything comes with a price'.
