I clasped both my hands over my mouth and pressed my back into the crates behind me, sliding down against them into a sitting position. I felt a renewed sense of dread bloom in my chest, spreading its hideos petals all over my body and leaving uncontrollable shivers in it's wake.

I heard the loud clanking of metal against medal in steady, long strides which i deciphered as big, heavy footsteps. It didn't take long before i heard loud, labored breathing above me. Lines.. no, strings of saliva were drizzling down and out of his mouth, some specks of it still dripping with blood. I could feel the heavy, sticky liquid land comfortably on my shoulder, slowly making its way down my torso and back, while I tried my best to keep my hecktik breathing to a minimum.

I could hear movement deprived bones in the nape of his neck grinding agonizingly against each other as he turned his head from side to side. I prayed that he didn't look down.

Yet as much as I did, I could feel dead eyes, devoid of any emotion, bore themselves into my back as I felt my heart's pace quicken, my body sweating profusely.

"Well hello there..~" The deep, slurred voice taunted, it's words, it's awful, horrible sounding words directed at me.

I felt tears staining my cheeks. Concentrating on mustering up all the courage I can, i slowly tilted my head upwards, soon being met with a row of sharp teeth, all making out an enormous mouth, the eyes seemingly on the other end of that exact mouth. I couldn't see them, but I was fairly sure that they were there.

With immense fear gnawing at me, I managed to squeak out a question:

"A-are you gonna eat me too, now that I know your true identity?.." Immediately after saying that I shrunk back into my seated position, refusing to make a sound in fear of angering the creature which stood tall before me.

"Perhaps I should.. considering you could snitch on me... But I'm actually full right now so, that'll have to wait~" The voiced spoke, continuing its taunting.

"So... I get to live?" I replied, hope restored in my body like an instant wave of heat, giving me enough energy to look up at the creature again.

It leaned down menacingly, it's face getting closer to mine until it was overstepping my comfort zone. It let out a deep, low, yet soft, growl.

'Why did that sound so hot?!' I thought embarrassed, turning my head away.

"Please don't do that.. your making me uncomfortable.." I gasped at my own, stern voice, hearing those words.

'I didnt expect to sound so... harsh' I noticed how he seemed to freeze in place, his hot breath not getting closer anymore.

"What?..." He asked, dumbfounded.

I knew it must have sounded stupid or freakishly daring, considering I basically just spoke to the monster that could kill me in an instant like it was an annoying pet.

I kept my gaze trained on him, but perhaps I shouldn't have, his eyes... or whatever you'd like to call the white, glowing balls that seemed to however in the back of the other's torn open face started taking on a redish hue. Said hue darkening by the second and making the somewhat ok white colour a freakish red.

He started twitching, his mouth's skin starting to knit back together, any trace of an injury gone whatsoever. The eyes and mouth were also in a normal position. And a normal shape of course. Bluffed, I stood there, rooted to the spot as orange watched me, a small grin forming on his face.

"Paralyzed?~ Tho I wonder...~ Is it out of fear~! Or... out of shock? Perhaps it's out of admiration?~" He blabbered on, kind of praising himself as he did.

As my muscles started to ease up, I managed to shake my head at his comment, tho I don't believe he caught it, the way he had his eyes closed and was smiling broadly. It dreads me to even look at him, let alone be so close to him. Well, just another thing I had to overwhelm.

Knowing I was mostly out of danger, so long as I didn't interrupt him, my body soon let loose and I could feel my ability to move come back to me. Quietly crouching down, I managed to sneak around him, then get back up and speed out the door like I was running a marathon.

The noise of clanking sound of metal against metal I made seemed to drag orange out of his reverie, him swiveling around to look at me, then proceed to chase after my already disappearing form.
