Chapter 8

(Y/N POV)

When me and Dib are walking to class, it gets very crowded in the hallway. I get claustrophobic and hold onto Dibs arm. He looks down at me and blushes. "W-what are you doing" I let go of his arm and start frantically apologizing. "S-sorry I was getting claustrophobic in the halls and," I soon feel my hands wrapped around dibs arm again. He looks down at me and blushes again. "D-don't be sorry, I-I don't mind." He smiles but his lips wiggle a bit. I smile back at him. "Thanks dib." He starts sweating a bit. "N-no problem, I-If you get uncomfy, I-I will do anything t-to help you." Even though he stuttered his words ment a lot to me. I'm thankful I have such a great friend. I lean my head on Dibs shoulder, and close my eyes. When I open them to look at Dib I see him blushing tons and covering his mouth with his other hand. "You alright Dib? If you want me to let go I can." I ask. He looks at me and says. "Y-you're fine, I-I actually feel better t-too, with all these p-people around, knowing I-i'm with you makes m-me feel comforted." I look at him and smile. "I feel the same way Dib." We smile at each other and finally get to class, I let go of his arm before we go inside, but he looked bummed when I did. I kinda was too, he's so warm, anyway I sit down, and get ready for class.

(Dibs POV)

Me and Y/N were walking in the hallway as usual, but this time was different. She held onto my arm, and I blushed a little. I looked down at her and asked. "W-what are you doing" She quickly looked up at me embarrassed with a blush on her face, Y/N then let go of my arm and said. "S-sorry I was getting claustrophobic in the halls and," I stopped her and put her hands back around my arm. What am I doing? I thought to myself. I looked down at her and blushed again. "D-don't be sorry, I-I don't mind." I try to smile, but my flustered face makes my smile wiggle. She smiles back at me. I love her smile, it's so comforting. "Thanks dib." she said to me. "N-no problem, I-If you get uncomfy, I-I will do anything t-to help you." Even though I stuttered, I meant every word. Her eyes light up a bit and she leans her head on my shoulder. OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD. She closes her eyes, and I start to sweat, and turn redder that the color itself. I cover my mouth with my other hand to try to calm myself down. But it isn't working, soon after Y/N opens her eyes and sees me. "You alright Dib? If you want me to let go I can." I really didn't want her to let go. Whenever she comes around she improves my mood by a ton. "Y-you're fine, I-I actually feel better t-too, with all these p-people around, knowing I-i'm with you makes m-me feel comforted." I stuttered a bunch, but I needed her to know that she's helping me, not hurting me. She looks at me and smiles, it's adorable. "I feel the same way Dib." I smile, and we get to class. Y/N let go of my arm when we went inside, but the second she did. I wanted it back, there's something about her that just makes me feel special. I sigh on the inside, sit down and get ready for class.
