First mission and Cassie Lang

April 31st

It has been a few months of Kate and Yelena's training and they are going on their first proper mission with yn.

Yns Pov

I wake up with Kate lying next to me still asleep. I get my phone from the side and check the time, 10:17 am. We need to get up soon because we have to leave for our mission at 11:30. I check my emails and see one from fury saying that all the files we need are in the breefing room and that we should go over it before we leave.

I turn my head to Kate who looks very peaceful but we need to get up. I kiss her cheek and she slowly wakes up.

"Good morning, my love" I say and kiss Kate again.

"Good morning darling" Kate says.

"We need to get up its almost half past 10" I say.

"Is it that late already" Kate asks.

"Yeah, come on get up" I say and get out of bed, Kate gets out of bed as well and we go downstairs.

We get downstairs and see yelena sat eating some toast. Me and Kate get ourselves some breakfast and join yelena at the table.

"We need to go through the files for the mission in the briefing room" I say.

"Okay" yelena says.

We finish our breakfast and head down to the briefing room. I pick up the file from the table and open the laptop. Kate and yelena sit down whilst I log into the laptop. I find the information for our mission.

"We are looking for Adam and Luke Brondem, they have been suspected of carrying out illegal experiments on children but nothing has been confirmed. We are going undercover to see if our suspicions are correct and if they are we will be shutting the whole thing down as soon as possible." I say I show yelena and Kate the files.

"How long do they think it has been going on for?" Kate asks.

"The first missing child case was about a month ago and we got more and more the past month, we managed to link them all back to the same area. There is a wear house that is owned by the brondem family in that area and we have no other suspects" I say.

"So we're going undercover to figure out if this is true and if it is we're shutting it down" yelena says going over the plan.

"Yeah, clothes have been left in the room next to us and we will get weapons from the room down the hall." I say.

We get our clothes and go upstairs to get changed, they are easy to move in but aren't suspicious at all. Once we are all ready we go back down to get our weapons and all of the other things we need.

We load up the car and make sure everything is in there. We double check the files and before we know it it's 11:30 and we need to set off. I drive Kate sits in the passenger seat and yelena in the back.

"Can you text Maria that we have just left" I asks Kate whilst I drive out the compound. Kate texts Maria and I put on the radio, we don't have to drive for too long only about 45 minutes.

We get to a cafe which is close to the wear house. Yelena and Kate are sat outside whilst I'm sat inside with a laptop and live security camera footage up.

We are sat for about 15 minutes before we spot the brothers drive past the cafe towards the wear house, they have a child in the back. I find footage from the security cameras down the road and focus on their car.

Yelena and Kate both get up and subtly follow the car on foot. I keep track of the car and write down the number plate the car stops just outside the wear house and I can see them opening the back door. I see them pull out a girl around the age of 13, she tries to resist them but it doesn't work. I do a scan of her face and pull up a file telling me everything I need to know about her. The brothers drag her to the wear house door and take her in.
