TW: Violence, Not super graphic
A.N: I realize same sex marriage was illegal back then so pretend a friend married them.
It was the next morning and Mason had finished hiding all of the cocaine and alcohol. The talk of her pubs renovation was all over London with people asking tons of questions. Her, Matthew, and James all went to have a meeting with David and who ever he brought with him. The 3 of them stopped outside the building they we're meeting in to go over the plan.
"Alright, I do all the talking. If they pull guns do nothing. Keep your face stone cold and don't move. Understand?" She said to them and they both nodded "Lets go"
As they walked in they saw a lot of workers making alcohol and whatever else he makes them do. The 3 walked their way back to his office.
"Mr. Long. Ms. Lee is here." One of his guards said.
He looked up "Let them in."
They were let in and they all sat down on the opposite side of the desk facing him.
"Welcome Ms. Lee" David spoke
Vivian nodded "Thank you." David rambled for a few minutes.
"I hate to interrupt but can we jump to the business aspect. I have a contract." She pulled it out. "I'll give you 25% of the profit from all of my businesses. All you have to do is sign here." She pointed to a line at the bottom of the paper and gave him a pen.
"25%?" He leaned forward "I want more"
Vivian sighed "How much more?" His bodyguard pulled out his gun and pointed it at her. She didn't flinch, neither did James or Matthew. They were used to this. Being held at gun point was nothing new to them.
"I want minimum 75%" David stated making Vivian chuckles.
"With all due respect Mr. Long, no. I have built my empire on my own. I did it neary by myself. My final offer is 35%. I'll even allow you to give your input on my pubs." She said as she leaned and put her forearms on the desk.
"35%?" he nodded "Fine" They shook hands.
"I'll write a new contract and be in contact soon. Have a good day Mr. Long." She nodded to him as the 3 left the building. After a few minutes of walking Matthew finally spoke "that went better than expected."
"Yeah it did." James said but Vivian stayed quiet with just a nod. They walked into her pub again and saw the renovations happening. All the workers stood up and looked at her with respect.
"How everything going? New poles? Bigger bar? Ay?" She walked around the room slowly, making sure to look at everything and everyone. The man in charge spoke up
"Yes Ms. Lee. We've added 3 more poles and we added a private room in the back corner" He points to it.
She walked over to him. "Very good. What about the bar?"
The man cleared his throat "I wasn't sure how much bigger you wanted it. So we haven't gotten to it yet."
Vivian looked over to the bar and motioned for the man to follow. "I want it to round out on both sides." She looked at the man. "I also want a few more shelves and tables. Can you do that for me?"
"Of course we can." He said.
She chuckled "I'm not going to hurt any of you, relax." With that all the workers took a deep breathe. This made Vivian, James, and Matthew laugh.
