(I will be changing around a few things for my story, so if some events are out of order I did it for a reason.)

Rhaenyra's POV:

I had been flying for a while before I saw Dragonstone in the distance Vermithor was flying above it until he heard Balerion's roar. Meeting us halfway to the castle Vermithor flew over us before diving down to the water's surface and then coming back up to stay beside us until we landed. I quickly climb down and walk over to Vermithor giving him some attention as I haven't seen him in a long time, I rub my hands up and down his cheek and neck for a while before some of my soldiers appear with Reeve Bellron behind them.

"Your grace your back, are you staying or heading back to the war?" he asked once he had gotten close enough for me to hear him over the winds blowing on the cliff edge we were on.

"Hello my lord, I have come back for just a few days as I will be heading back in two days' time. how is everything here?" I finish giving Vermithor some attention so that I can start walking towards the castle. Reeve and the soldiers follow behind me as we make our way up the narrow pathways and steps.

"Everything is good here your grace, we have received more families from all across Westeros. We currently have close to twelve thousand soldiers here on the island, so including the ones you took with you we have around thirteen thousand altogether."

"That's good to hear, how was Vermithor been whilst his brother and I weren't here?"

"The first few days he was sleeping and not eating what we had been giving him but by day three he ate what we gave him and began flying around the castle again. I think he missed you, your grace"

"I missed him as well. I will be taking him with me when I leave to help with the war, if you need help just send a raven to the camp."

"Of course your grace, we should be fine if anyone comes here."

We had made it to the throne room by this point, I haven't seen this room for a few weeks now since I had joined the war. I didn't want to sit on the throne it had felt too weird, I preferred to sit around a fire with the soldiers drinking ale and sharing stories. I sat on the steps before the throne whilst everyone stood before me.

"I will be here for two days, on the morning of the third day I will be leaving back to the war camps with both of my dragons. If anything happens I want you to immediately send a raven to the camp. On my way here I came across a camp of people being attacked by Lannister soldiers, I saved them and informed them to make their way here for safety, they will be asking for you Lord Bellron. I just don't know when they will be arriving."

"Of course, I will keep an eye out and would you like me to inform you if and when they arrive?" Lord Reeve asked me.

"Yes please do, I like to know if they arrived safely or not if they don't arrive before I leave. I'm tired from my journey so I will be heading to my chambers to rest until dinner." Everyone in the room nodded before leaving to do their own thing.

It had been about an hour since I went to my room to rest but I couldn't relax so I decided to take a walk around the castle grounds. I was walking down the pathway near one of the cliffs watching my children flying and playing with each other in the sky. Deciding to join them I walked down to the cliff where they land for me. I sat in the middle of the cliff on the grass with my fighting leathers on, after waiting there a while the dragons noticed me, landing on either side of me they both wrapped their bodies around me laying their heads against my legs. Rubbing my hands up and down both of their faces letting them relax as they use to when they were younger, I missed having them both with me but I wanted to protect my castle until I knew I had enough soldiers.

Finally feeling at ease with both of my children with me not having to worry about anything but myself and them. "Let's go flying" I whispered to Balerion in High Valyrian, getting up I climbed onto his back as he got up from the position he was in with Vermithor following suit, running to the edge of the cliff my children both jumped off the edge before lifting themselves up high into the sky.

By the time I even realised that I had been out for ages it had reached nightfall, and I didn't even know where I was until I saw a huge green explosion a little ways away. I was curious as to what it was so I flew the dragons higher whilst we got closer, I could hear the screaming of men when I finally took notice that I was near King's landing. They were my enemies but so were the ones fighting them from what I could see of the banners on the ships and I wanted to be the ones to kill the Lannisters, not Stannis Baratheon so I decided why not join in, there is nothing they could do to my dragons. I started with the burning of the ships, most of the men were already headed towards the shore.

Tyrion Lannister's POV:

I was sitting up on the battlements watching as Stannis's men were getting close to shore when suddenly a huge roar and fire was coming from the sky, I couldn't see much until a secondary explosion was caused by the fire landing on the ships, through the fire came a large dragon flying towards us. I was shocked and I didn't know whether or not they were our enemy or not considering they had just burned some of the Baratheon fleet.

I had heard of the Targaryen queen on Dragonstone with 2 large dragons who had joined forces with Robb Stark in the war against us so why was she here? What I didn't know was that it wouldn't take me long until I found out.
