We had just taken off from Robb's camp his arms wrapped tightly around my waist with some of Balerions spines in his hands. We were flying low, just above the tree line with Vermithor flying higher above us. I looked over the side of Balerion down to the forest floor, I spotted Greywind running just a little behind us.

"Look I can see Greywind running below us." I pointed down towards him. Robb followed my arm down so he could see where I was pointing, when he finally spotted him he gave a loud laugh.

"I think he loves you if I'm being honest, I've never seen him so attached to anyone besides me."

"Just have a way with animals I guess, it's never been too hard for me to form bonds with any animal."

Finally making it to the spot we chose for the pyre both the dragons landed and we climbed off, Greywind ran up to me once my feet hit the ground and licked the back of my hands getting my attention. I handed the bag over to Robb so he could hold it open for me as I reached my hands inside pulling the large egg out, He put the bag on the ground beside us once I grabbed what I needed.

"well I was just going to let my dress burn and then put the cloak on but since you have seen me naked and we are going to get married I'll just take the dress off beforehand so I don't burn it and am able to wear it again."

He tried to hide the smile that was making its way onto his face, looking down to try and hide it further. "That's a good idea, I'll put it in the bag for when you're ready to put it back on. How is this going to work exactly?"

"Well once we light the fire I'll take off the dress, grab the egg and pretty much just sit in the fire until it hatches, which could happen really quickly or take a while it all depends on the egg itself."

"Are you sure that this is safe?"

"Considering I've done this before I should be fine, the dragons will keep us safe from anyone looking to harm us, I can't burn so the fire won't harm me and as long as you don't go near it you'll be fine so I think we will be good. Will you please light the night for me?" I placed the egg on top of the pile of bodies

"Of course."

He grabbed the lit torch that for waiting beside the pyre. Whoever he got to build it has laid wood and hay completely along the bottom with the bodies stacked in the middle. I would sit beside the body pile with the egg in my lap so that when it hatched I would be the first person they saw helping to create the bond.

The fire was lit and didn't take too long to spread to the rest of the pyre, once my dress was off I grabbed the egg, walked into the pyre and sat down pulling the egg into my lap against my chest; hugging it in a sense. The fire was a welcomed comfort in the cold, washing away my worries I felt calm in its warmth. I didn't know how long I had been sitting there before I felt movement in the egg so I looked down at it to watch as it hatched. slowly it wriggled its way out of the shell into my arms, it sat and watched me, looking at it I could tell it was already different looking to its brothers. She was a deep red in colour almost looking like she was made out of blood, and she had more spines running down her neck and around her head, I knew that my littlest dragon would be my fiercest.

We sat in the fire until it started to slow its burning, its flames almost out. I stood up clutching the dragon to my chest as she climbed to my shoulder, I could see Robb standing against a tree with Greywind sitting by his side. He hadn't noticed me until I was at the edge of the pyre, quickly rushing to me with my cloak and dress in his hand.

"You did it." he said as he handed over my clothes. I grabbed the dress first and put it on around the baby dragon I still hadn't named.

"Did you doubt me? I am the mother of dragons after all."

"I didn't know what to believe, seeing as no one has seen a dragon for hundreds of years it still amazes me. Have you thought of a name?" I still think about how I am returning my family's name, trying to right the wrong that my father made years ago.

"Well, I like to name my dragons after my ancestors so I'll have to look at my history books first."

"You know she reminds me of Princess Rhaenys dragon Meleys who was named "the red queen" and considering the baby seems to be red it seems fitting."

"Hmm, I think that works, you just named your first dragon." I joked, it caused a smile to grow on his face. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to his chest, I put both my hands against him.

"Thank you for doing this with me Robb."

"No, thank you for letting me experience this, If someone had told me that one year I would meet a Targaryen who not only has dragons but I'm getting married to her as well, I would've laughed in their face but now that it's happening I am amazed at how wrong people were about you family." at first I was touched but by the time he had finished what he was saying I wasn't offended just sad that what he was saying is true because everyone in the whole seven kingdoms now is being taught that Targaryens are mad people who will burn everything they touch down to ashes and bone.

"My father was an evil man and I am glad that he died, but I am not my father and I plan on righting his wrongs."

"I know you aren't your father Rhae why do you think I agreed to marry you? You are already a great queen your people love you, you care about others and there are many other things I could say but I think you get where I'm going with this."

"All I have ever heard growing up was that my older brother was the last dragon since Rhaegar's death and that my sister and I were nothing but breeding stock so he could get what he wanted. Well, I proved everyone who doubted me wrong and I'll continue to do that until the day I die. I crave this now all I want is to destroy the people who crush others under them to get what they want and at the top of that list are the Lannisters and Baratheons, the world will be a better place once they are gone."

"We will do that together I Promise."

I didn't want to believe his promise.

I didn't want to get attached.

In this world, its dangerous to get attached and I couldn't risk my heart again.
