Sonic quiets down to the point he can hear Shadow snoring loudly

HUH- oh- apologies I was listening, I've felt that before, the chest tightening and the butterflies nonsense, I'm familiar I just haven't known what it all meant

WHAT?!

Shadow jumps at the shout

Sonic's eyes light up like fireworks

That is of no importance these feelings are no advantage to me so I won't be pursuing them further

Sonic gets up and walks over to Shadow

He grabs his shoulders and pushes him back into the couch staring with wide eyes into his soul

[Shadow's Thoughts]
What the fuck is with this guy and boundaries

Sonic pushes him into the couch more getting even closer to the point that they can feel eahcothers breaths

Shadow starts to heat up but stays as straight faced as possible

Fine, can we go out for food?

I don't know any public places, I only know of the places I need to go for work or places I've been

[Sonic]
Damn, well there's a restaurant across the park, it's the closest thing and they serve all types of things there if you wanna go there

[Shadow]
I guess

[Sonic]
Also, do you mind if I invite Tails? you could bring someone along too if you want

[Shadow]
I have no other acquaintances

[Sonic]

[Shadow]
I will befriend the fox, so I will have another acquaintance
