"So what's written on the paper" Yoruichi asked after finally giving Byakuya his headband "I haven't even yet opened it and your asking me questions!" Byakuya said irritated as he opened the envelope and the first thing he was Kimikos lip mark on the front of the page "she's going to kill me" byakuya said as blood dripped from his nose "oh my, now I'm interested!" Yoruichi said collecting the paper from him.

"Haha, byakuya Kuchiki the next head of the Kuchiki clan got a nose bleed just from a letter from his crush, what'll happen when you two get married and spend your first night together!" Yoruichi laughed giving Byakuya the thought of seeing older Kimiko naked "I'd definitely die!" Byakuya said as more blood spurted out his nose getting on the paper "ah, don't get blood on the paper when you haven't read it" Yoruichi said taking the paper away.

"I understand now give it to me!" Byakuya said snatching the paper and reading it "she's training in the barracks and then she'll go visit her mom in the soul palace" Byakuya said sadly as he read the last paragraph of the letter "ahm 'I'm sorry I have to end the letter this shortly but I've got to go now, I wish you could come see me in the Seireitei so I won't be lonely anymore, I miss you and Oske love Kimiko' wow isn't that sweet" Yoruichi said reading the last half of the letter.

"She said she misses me" Byakuya said hitting his head against the wall "you forgot the fact that she also added Sosukes name" Yoruichi said as Byakuya tsked at her "has Aizen ever visited Kimiko while she was in the barracks?" Byakuya asked "not that I know off...don't listen to me he probably did" Yoruichi said before the boy dashed out the room.

With Kimiko

"Hmm, Kimiko you don't have a lot of stamina do you?" Kensei Muguruma asked watching as the girl was sweating after doing 10 or less pushups "of course I'm not!" Kimiko said before collapsing on the ground 'she doesn't have much stamina and yet her punches can kill, how does she do it?' Kensei thought clenching his stomach that Kimiko punched earlier "your good at healing, Hakuda and anything ladylike, yet your terrible at Kado and swordsmanship, for now that is" Kensei said letting out a sigh as Jushiro and Shunsui Kyōraku showed up.

"Uncle Jūshirō, Shunsui" Kimiko said flatly saying Shunsui name "have some respect and call me uncle!" Shunsui said jealously "why're you here?" Kimiko asked "like I promised I asked the head captain for permission for you to go visit your mother, although he couldn't see you off but you got permission" Jūshirō said patting her head as she jumped around happily "I'll go pack my things" Kimiko said rushing away.

Later

"Hey, Mashiro have you seen Yuka?" Kimiko asked as she stood and waited for the Senkaimon to open "sorry, seems like byakuya was busy training" Mashiro replied shrugging "alright" Kimiko said as she walked off only to later hear her nickname being called from a distance "Kimi!" Byakuya called flash stepping towards her "Yuka!" Kimiko said running to his arms as they hugged not realizing Sosuke Aizen watching them.

"I'm sorry" Byakuya said hugging her "for what?" Kimiko asked trying to free herself from the hug but failed "for ever asking you to apologize for something you never did, I'm sorry" Byakuya said "I'm sorry too, I must have said some things that must have hurt your feelings" Kimiko said before hearing a cough from behind them signaling the two to split up "oh my, I hadn't realized we were doing such acts in public" Kimiko said fanning her flushed face with her hands.

"We'll I'm glad you two have made up" Sosuke said showing up behind them with a smile "Oske!" Kimiko said running to his side "how long are you going to be gone?" Sosuke asked rubbing her face "since moms condition is stable for the time being I'm staying for a week or two, it depends" Kimiko said trying to get his hand off her cheek "alright return safely and don't get sick" Byakuya said after a soul reaper informed them of the gate preparations.

"Not trying to be rude Sosuke Aizen, but I need you to get away from Kimiko" Byakuya said before walking away from the scene.

Soul palace

"Welcome princess Kimiko" Ichibē Hyōsube greeted after Kimiko passed through the Senkaimon "hi Ichibe, can I see mother please" Kimiko asked as a few women changed her while his back was turned "no can do princess, we've got to perform a thorough inspection of your body to make sure your not sick or carrying any illnesses that can harm the soul king, your mother or yourself especially considering how premature you were born" Ichibe said leading her towards a room where he gave her a checkup and released any seals in her body.

"Seems like the only seal left is that spiritual seal" Ichibe said tucking Kimiko in the bed as she sneezed heavily "thank you" Kimiko said sneezing as snot fell from her nose "no problem, anyways how's your training been?" Ichibe asked "well Kensei says I'm physically strong but I don't have must stamina" kimono said "true and we'll have to work on that if your going to be the next captain of the 14th division" Ichibe said checking her forehead "how can I be a captain when I'm not strong" Kimiko said getting up after Ichibe fed her something.

"Your powerful you just don't realise it yet, anyways the Zanpakutō Ōetsu Nimaiya made for you since the day you were birth is almost ready, Now would you like to see your mother?" Ichibe asked after she got up successfully recovered "yes please" Kimiko said running towards her mothers room where she met a younger Yhwach "uncle" Kimiko greeted as she curtsied only for him to walk past her.

"Mother, your daughter Kimiko's here" Kimiko said as she enter the room where her mother rested "how are you child?" Kimiko mother asked getting off the bed "Lady Baruma please you can't get up" Ichibe said concerned as he stopped her from leaving "oh please, I've been on the bed all year my baby is here the least I can do is take a walk with her in the garden" Baruma said pushing the embarrassed Ichibe away from her as she and Kimiko walked towards the garden.

"A little birdie told me you joined the academy" Baruma said watching how her daughter was playing with the fishes in the pond "yea, I made two friends both sisters but I don't think one of them likes me" Kimiko said "what makes you say that?" Baruma asked sitting on a bench "well when we're together all she talk about is either Oske or Yuka even the other girl only sometimes ask about Oske not that I mind" Kimiko said walking towards her mother.

"Are perhaps jealous?" Baruma asked patting her lap for her daughter to sit "I can't sit on your lap I'm too heavy" Kimiko said shaking her head "I held you in my womb for eight months I almost died six times giving birth to you... sit down" Baruma said as Kimiko sat on her lap "Anyways why would I be jealous of Oske it's not like he talks to the two?" Kimiko said "not Sosuke, I think your jealous of the girls because they keep trying to approach your crush" Baruma said patting Kimiko head.

"Crush? I don't have a crush on Oske?" Kimiko said confused "not Sosuke, Byakuya" Baruma said laughing as she noticed her daughter flushed red face "I don't, I just see him as my best friend nothing more" Kimiko said pouting as she got up and walked away "alright love, but if you don't confess to him another girl could snatch him away" Baruma said watching as her daughter went in the wrong direction after attempting to head towards her room.
