"What did you get on the exams Ichigo?" Kimiko asked passing the boy as he stood in front of the score board "he got rank number 22~ he cheated having your aunt as a teacher must be really awesome!" keigo said crying at the feet of Kimiko "he studied hard, this is his reward" Kimiko said with a smile as she patted his head "Ichigo!" Rukia said running past her as she dragged ichigo away "alright guys let's stop crowding the halls" Kimiko said clapping her hand together.
"Urg how annoying!" Ichigo said entering the house angrily "what's wrong with you?" Kimiko asked drying her hands "urg this guy I met on my way while trying to kill a hollow I can't even remember his name!" Ichigo said throwing his bag on the couch "I thought the only other soul reaper apart from you and rukia was Urahara who would have thought there was another" Kimiko said placing a plate of peach in front of him "that's because he's not he called himself a Quincy" ichigo said letting out a sigh as Kimiko froze 'really I would have though their family would be extinct by now, since there's not much power here' Kimiko thought.
"Anyways I won't be in school tomorrow" Kimiko said standing up "is there something important going on tomorrow if you need a guide I'm here" Ichigo suggested eagerly "it's alright I'm just going to the Urahara shop to deliver something, I'll manage to find my way, now how about you go take a bath and go to bed" Kimiko said taking off her apron as she walked upstairs.
Next day
"Kimiko where are you heading off to?" Isshin asked walking on his hands as he entered the dining room "I'm going to stop by the flower shop before heading to Urahara shop and deliver something" Kimiko said wearing her shoes as she held a stick wrapped in white cloth "do you have to leave so early in the day?" Yuzu asked placing breakfast on the table "Yuzu did you forget? Kimiko has a terrible sense of direction so she has to leave early to get an early start at getting lost" Karin said laughing "alright that's enough jokes from you Karin, eat your breakfast and go to school, Kimiko out" she said embarrassed as she left the house.
"Hmm? I'm sure the Urahara shop should be around here" Kimiko said after three hours of leaving the flower shop "lady Kimiko what are you doing here?" Tessai asked holding a bag of groceries "I just finished with the groceries, were you perhaps heading towards the store?" Tessai asked as they walked "yes actually I wanted to keep my Zanpakuto in the training ground under the shop but it seems like they reconstruct the roads so it was hard for me to make it" Kimiko said as Tessai let out a sigh "just admit you got lost lady Kimiko" Tessai said as he laughed.
"Kisuke your here" Kimiko said entering the store "yay big sis Kimiko's here!" jinta said running towards Kimiko "my goodness you've grown much taller than the last time I saw you" Kimiko said patting his head "you were last here last week" Kisuke said sweat dropping "h-h-hello Miss Kimiko" Ururu greeted showing up nervously "shut up Ururu I'm talking to big sis Kimiko, anyways big sis what treats did you bring for me?" Jinta asked curiously "isn't there enough sweets here for you? Why do you have to ask her?" Kisuke asked letting out a sigh as Kimiko laughed.
"I came here to clean my Zanpakuto and leave it in the training ground" Kimiko said sitting down beside the man "can't you do it at home now your eldest kid is a substitute soul reaper there's nothing to hide anymore, here you go" Kisuke said handing her a cleaning kit "true but he might hate me for keeping it a secret for so long and then Isshin and Masaki secrets will be out" Kimiko said as she began cleaning "do you ever feel like going back home?" Urahara asked staring at her "but my home is here" Kimiko said.
"I'm sure you know what I'm talking about, the other captains your mother, the soul king and other...most importantly byakuya Kuchiki and-" he said but soon stopped after the sound of thunder could be heard "...I'll advise you to keep whatever thoughts you have to yourself" Kimiko said not taking her eyes off her sword "you do know a captain will come for miss Kuchiki and you and I both know ichigo will be in the middle of whatever might happen" he said letting out a sigh "you are useless Kisuke, when unwanted you show up but when needed you don't" Kimiko said standing as she was don't cleaning.
"I won't say I'm useless just mysterious and you know I'm right about the captain thing, you can't run away from your problems forever it'll hurt" Urahara said watching her open the door leading to the training ground "I'm not running away from anything I just don't feel like dealing with anything" Kimiko said preparing to jump "that's still running away-she's gone" Urahara said noticing how she was no longer talking to him.
"Is there any other reason why your here?" Urahara asked watching how Kimiko was eating her third bag of chips from his store "who would have though there was another Quincy other than Masaki" Kimiko said eating her chips "did you forget there's also Ryūken Ishida" Urahara said fanning himself "oh yea that brat, I would have thought the power would have died in his generation" Kimiko said before Urahara bursted out into laughter "you sound like an old woman when you talk like that" he said laughing before getting a plate thrown at him.
"Rukia is something wrong?" Kimiko asked as she threw her soul pager at Urahara "Kimiko what are you doing here?" Rukia asked "I'm eating snacks" Kimiko said showing her the candy bar in her hand "if your gonna eat something from my store then pay for it!" Urahara shouted as Kimiko laughed before hearing a hollow "something is wrong" Kimiko said walking out the shop with the chocolate in hand "what are you talking about?" Rukia asked before her soul pager rang "seems like There's a lot of hollows around" Kimiko said staring into the pager.
"I've got to go, thanks for the snacks Urahara" Kimiko said running out the shop "sigh, again she didn't pay" Urahara said letting out his sigh.
"I think the house should be somewhere around here?" Kimiko said from in front of the school building "Kimiko" Yuzu said walking up to Kimiko with her friends "Yuzu? What are you doing here and where am I?" Kimiko asked walking up to her "well I'm just hanging out with my friends, anyways your in front of ichigo school" Yuzu explained as Kimiko heard a hollows shout from above them "get away from there!" Kimiko said pushing the children to the ground as the hollow flew past them.

"Pitiful woman your efforts to save those children is worthless" the hollow said as it bit into Kimiko shoulder "your shoulder is bleeding, what's happening?" Yuzu asked worriedly "it's nothing, I have an idea how about you and your friends go home" Kimiko suggested as she stood up "what about the thing that attacked you?" Yuzu asked "I'll deal with it don't worry and when I'm done I'll go look for Ichigo, now go" Kimiko said pushing her away from the range of the hollows attack.
"Was there any need to send those kids away I'll get them once I'm done with you!" The hollow said laughing as it watched Kimiko inspected her injuries "I didn't know hollows could be this chatty, what a bore" she said letting out a sigh "huh? Me chatty look who's talking!" The hollow said swooping down for an attack "Hadō 88: Hiryū Gekizoku Shinten Raihō" Kimiko said holding her hand out as a blast came out her hand and destroyed the hollow "hmm after all these years you still haven't lost your touch, impressive and strangely frightening but sexy" Urahara said from behind Kimiko with Tessai carrying Chad "I've grown weaker" she said clenching her fist.
