Kimiko said running towards his side in tears "there's no need to cry anymore, I'm fine" ichigo said caressing her face "I know but I can't help it, I'm so relieved that the tears keep coming" She said unable to control herself "please don't cry any-" ichigo said before falling to the ground "Hanatarō let's go back to the sewers so I can treat his wounds" Kimiko stated as she carried ichigo over her back.

Back to present

"Izuru I heard Renji got injured fighting a Ryoka" Hanabi said walking into the room where Renji was resting with Inohime walking behind her "if only I got there sooner maybe he would have been saved" Izuru said clenching his fist "do not blame yourself the fight was inevitable, it's honestly a relief he's still alive" Inohime said feeling his fever "I'll go make the call for the emergency relief team" Izuru said before byakuya stopped him "what do you mean lock Renji up, maybe I should lock you up for such harsh working environment" Inohime said glaring at byakuya.

"I'll advice you to mind your business" byakuya said coldly before attempting to leave "is this how you'd act when lady Kimiko returns?" Inohime said stopping him in his tracks "Kimiko?" Momo hinamori asked confused "she's dead, she's never coming back so don't mention her name" he said walking off "captain Inohime who's this Kimiko person?" Momo asked "sigh, the one woman who was loved by all and still hated by a few, byakuya and Aizen were head over heals in love with her but she never noticed Aizen because her heart was set on one person" Inohime said sadly remembering the past "oh" Momo said sadly hearing her captains name.

"Look at the time, I should go dispatch the next group for the search of the Ryoka" Inohime said before leaving the room "this is the first time hearing about captain Aizen love interest" Momo said watching Inohime leave.

With Kimiko

"His wounds are deep" Hanataro said inspecting ichigo injuries "is he...gonna die?" Kimiko asked as she trembled in fear her mind not in the right place "snap out of it woman!" Genju said slapping Kimiko "yes your right, I'm sorry" she said placing her hand over his forehead "don't worry, I'll heal him just give me one night" Hanataro said reassuring Kimiko "yes I see, I'll wait until your done" she said standing up and going to wait outside near the water.

"What's your relationship with ichigo?" Ganju asked sitting beside her "he's my Godson, after his mother died I've become the next motherly figure for he and his sisters" she said staring blankly into the water "Godmother? You guys act more like you're dating" Ganju laughed "it has turned to that these days, but I don't care what others think, ichigo saved me and for that I'll do anything" she said before stopping after hearing Hanataro voice trying to stop ichigo "I'll knock him out" Ganju said before punching him.

"How are his wounds?" Kimiko asked helping Hanataro place ichigo body in a good resting position "his wounds seem less deeper than I expected" he said looking at a mask that was close by.

"Your awake!" Kimiko said cried after ichigo woke up "of course I am" ichigo said patting her head as she cried "ichigo...You idiot how could you take on Renji attacks without thinking are you stupid!" Kimiko shouted punching his chest where his wounds were "arg, I'm gonna die" ichigo said falling back to the ground "please don't die on me" she said hugging him.

At the same time

"What is going on?!" Hanabi asked running to the scene after r hearing a scream "Captain Aizen!" Momo screamed crying "ah, someone get him down we would not let his corpse be disrespected like this!" Hanabi instructed "what's all this racket so early in the morning?" Gin asked walking up to the lieutenants "it was you!" Momo said drawing her sword at the captain before his lieutenant stopped her. "Momo!" Hanabi said holding her Zanpakuto close to the girls neck "Hanabi let me go" Momo said tightening her grip on her blade "look at you, have you lost your mind! Attacking a captain why because your captain is dead!" Hanabi yelled.

"He killed captain Aizen" Momo said "keep your mouth shut! Even if that is true you do not have the authority to pass judgment! Squad 14 take her and lock her up in the squad 6 cell for her to await punishment from head captain Genryusai and someone get captain Aizen from down there the scene is disgusting" Hanabi said putting her Zanpakuto in its sheath as a few men arrived "thank you" Izuru said deactivating his Shikai "I know you two have been close since your academy days but do not go easy on her for that reason, but I will talk to captain Inohime to see if she can lighten her sentence" Hanabi said walking away.

"What a kind beautiful woman" Tetsuzaemon Iba said nodding his head approvingly "Good job handling that" Inohime said walking to the scene with Hitsugaya.

With Kimiko

"This looks like a lot of stairs" Kimiko said running up the stairs leading to the repentance cell "if you can't run anymore just give me the signal and I'll carry you" ichigo said proudly "thank you but I'm fine" she said as the finally reached the top "no one here either, security seems pretty lax, let's just head straight for the tower" Ichigo said running ahead of the group before getting chocked by a sudden powerful spiritual pressure.

"What could be, what could be doing this?!" Ichigo asked struggling to hold his head up 'the spirit pressure of a captain, but I've never felt this before so I don't know who it is' Kimiko thought as she looked around for the cause of the power "Kimiko are you okay?" Ichigo said struggling to speak "even though your probably dying right now you still worry about me, how sweet" she said smiling before hearing bell chimes.

"Hey Hanataro snap out of it" Kimiko said trying to wake him up "hey Ganju" ichigo called "right here" "get Hanataro and Kimiko up and get out of here, you save rukia I'll deal with these two somehow" ichigo said drawing out his sword "have you gone mad? I'm not leaving you!" Kimiko shouted walking up to him "Ganju! Please take them!" Ichigo said as Ganju picked both Kimiko and Hanataro by the waist and ran away "put me down Ganju! That man is gonna kill him!" Kimiko said trying to release herself from his grasp "I promised ichigo I was gonna save Rukia and I intend to do that" Ganju said before Hanataro woke up causing him to fall "hey what are you doing!" Ganju shouted as he and Hanataro began talking "sorry Ganju, Hanataro, but I can't leave ichigo to fight that man" kimiko mumbled as she ran back towards the direction she came from.

Later

"A dead end, again" Kimiko said running at a corner "I seriously need to improve my direction skill" she said running out as she continued her search for Ichigo "the spirit energy clash between Ichigo and that man is strong and close" Kimiko said running to the source of the energy to see Ichigo laying in front of kenpachi with his sword broken in front of him "Ichigo!" She said running towards his side as kenpachi walked past her "oh yea, I'm supposed to kill the Ryoka" kenpachi said drawing his sword at Kimiko.

"Kimi-" ichigo said mid sentence spotting his zangetsu in his spiritual place.

"Get the hell away from her!" Ichigo said cutting kenpachi on the shoulder as he grabbed Kimiko and jumped "Ichigo" Kimiko said in joy "didn't I say you should go look for Rukia? What the hell are you doing here?!" Ichigo asked shouting at Kimiko "I was worried so I came back" Kimiko said almost in tears "alright alright stop crying, if not your eyes might pop out" ichigo teased "don't laugh" she said pouting "go stand at a safe distance, let me quickly finish things here and we'll catch up to Ganju and Hanataro" ichigo said defending Kenpachi attack.
