Mr. Li walked to the front of the room and everyone went dead silent, their eyes all on him.
The man clasped his hands behind his back as he surveyed Yoongi, Namjoon and the class that huddled together.
"Everyone, today we are here to get the truth." He spoke loudly, his voice carrying across the vast room. "The truth is the most important virtue in any case. It's what we teach all our kids from a young age, and the truth is what makes business transactions go smoothly. We are here today, however, because unfortunately, someone here has not been telling the truth." He looked down at Yoongi who gazed back at him, unintimidated.
"As a teacher, it is one of your most important duties when educating young minds to be open and be honest with your students." He said, turning to face Namjoon, who gave his signature defiant glare.
"As a show of good faith, I will let the accused make an opening statement." He winked at Namjoon as he stalked back to his table.
"A man is only as good as his opening statement," the lawyer whispered so only the student could hear. "You may have won the judge over with a few big boy words on your grand entrance, but you're just a kid. I've taken on one hundred and seven cases in my five years of being a lawyer, and I've never lost."
"Prepare to mark today as your first loss then." Namjoon smirked at him, showing off one dimple. “Because I read your book, dumbass.”
He let the heavy book fall into the lawyer's shocked hands as he shouldered the man out of his way. "And I know exactly how to defeat you."
Namjoon unhurriedly strode over and stood under the harsh white spotlight and everyone turned their stares to him.
He forced himself not to look at Yoongi, as he needed to concentrate and seeing his boyfriend's face would only make his brain short circuit.
He faced the crowd, smiling when he saw his classmates in the back.
"Your honor, jury, onlookers, school staff. They say the comeback is always stronger that the setback." Namjoon spoke loudly, his voice carrying confidently. "Today you have set seven lives back by accusing the greatest man I have ever known of two completely outrageous charges. I worked all my life to get to the spot I was on Monday morning right before Min Yoongi was called into principal Barnes's office. I was on the Dean's list. I was captain of the basketball team. I was going to be Valedictorian. And then I had that all ripped away from me because someone didn't want to tell the truth. The truth being that the tape you were donated was erroneous, emended and downright malicious in intent to dishonor myself and my health teacher."
Jungkook's mouth had fallen open at some point during Namjoon's speech.
He had seen the strong alpha boy shirtless.
Seen his nipple piercing. Seen him play the roughest game of basketball ever. Seen him absolutely work a girl's outfit. Seen him tied up and at dominant Yoongi's mercy. Seen him smile with his dimples on full display.
But seeing Namjoon like this?
It was.
The hottest.
Sight.
Ever.
Jungkook had always been so transfixed on the boy's body that he had forgotten about the boy's brain. He just discovered fifty more kinks at the thought of a sexy Namjoon in a suit addressing a room of professional people all thirty years older than him and absolutely crushing them with his words and knowledge.
IQ of 148? More like 148 new fantasies to jack off to.
Beside him, Seokjin was biting his nails, his legs crossed and Hoseok was staring, his eyes wide, also mesmerized by Namjoon.
