"I thought Dylan Sanders would be a guy what the fuck is this?" I hear a deep voice heavy in accent say."Be grateful we got someone everyone else couldn't handle it." Another voice responds.
I didn't even realize I fell asleep, I couldn't recall falling asleep, I try to think of whatever happened before I woke up but nothing came to my mind. I check my surroundings still being in the black Tucson.
I peak outside slightly trying to not make a sound.
"I don't think she can." An all too familiar voice says.
Asshole.
"A bit harsh, ghost." The other man in the room replies.
We seemed to be at base but I couldn't recognize a single thing.
"What makes you say that." The heavily thicker accent man asks.
"Soap she's just a kid." Ghost replies.
"We're low 3 members SHES all we got." The man who's voice I could actually understand says.
"Says here she's the best in her unit and field." The man who I figured was named soap says.
"And she was her commanders right hand man." The other man replies.
"Shes quite the looker take a look, Gaz." Soap chuckles, I hear paper ruffle.
From what I could tell at least 3 people were outside or where ever the hell we were. One was Ghost his voice was instantly recognizable, the second being Soap and lastly Gaz. I soften my breaths to not alert them I was awake.
"You both better shut it before she wakes up." Ghost coldly states.
"You better wake her up I believe introductions are due." Gaz replies.
"What does Price think?" Soap asks.
"Not sure he hasn't made contact with her yet but he definitely knew just didn't inform us." Ghost replies.
"Why would he do that?" Gaz asks.
"I don't know but I don't have a good feeling about it." Ghost admits.
"What do you think of her?" Soap says in a tone.
"She's a fighter but she's not ready for this team I'm not sure what Price saw in her but I don't see it." He continues.
"Eye candy?" Gaz chuckles. I shuffle slightly and try to not make noise but failed as you could see my body moving.
"Dylan." Ghost states. He wasn't in my vision but I could feel his eyes on me, I get goosebumps. "Yes sir?" I say from inside the car.
"Get out here." He bluntly states. "Yes sir." I repeat. I creak the door open and stare at all the men in front of me. I take a big gulp, of course they all seemed stronger, better, taller than me.
Ghost was in my left side just staring like always, the man next to him looked me up and down, he squinted his eyes like he was examining me.
He had a slight mustache, he had on a grey beanie making me not able to see his hair. Slightly big nose, nice eyebrows and big lips. He smiles and pounces towards me, "Dylan..?"
I nod in response.
"I'm Gaz." He pulls out his hand in a way to shake it, I was in shock even though I heard all the words he said earlier he was the only person I've met that hasn't been distance or weird. I smile at his good attitude.
I move onto the next man, he smiled at me and put his hand out instantly. "I'm soap." His accent was heavy very heavy I couldn't place where it was from but I would have to say Irish?
He has a shaggy hair cut like a messy short Mohawk, his shaggy bear matched the hair.
"Nice to meet you." I smile at both of them, it felt odd smiling since with Ghost if I smiled it was like I did something wrong.
"What's yours then?" Soap asks me. "I'm sorry?" I reply. "Your code name." Gaz adds on.
I don't know why a code name was so important it's not like I can't go by my name, I try to think of something but my thoughts were interrupted as I saw a mouse scurry along the floor. Ick.
"She ain't got one-" ghost begins to speak.
"Mouse." I interrupt him.
Ghost gives me an odd look as he looked me right in the eye. I swallow, "Sorry sir just came up with it right now." I say trying to not get on his bad side but it seemed like I was already on it.
I really got to bite my tongue around him.
"Nice to meet you, mouse." Soap chuckles at my weird name I would have done the same like what type of name is soap.
"You alright with us getting to meet the newbie, L.T? We'll show her to her room." Soap looks at Ghost, he doesn't say anything just nods and walks away from us.
I felt a huge amount of weight fall off my shoulder when he left.
"Let's show you to your room." Gaz says, I nod, "be a doll get her bags, Soap." He continues. "It's fine sir i got it." I enter the door I came out of and grab my single bag.
I didn't pack that many things so I didn't care about caring my own things.
"Woah, sir that's a new one." Soap chuckles as him and Gaz begins to lead the way, I smile, "I'm sorry what should I call you?" I ask.
"Soap would do, Mouse." He replies. I shiver, the name seemed like a weird choice now thinking about it.
"Just call me Gaz." Gaz says, "Only call Price and Ghost sir they deserve the respect." He continues.
"And you don't?" I ask. Soap smiles at my words.
"I will say you're funny." Soap replies.
"How old are you kid?" Gaz asks.
"I'm 25." I reply.
"You're just a kid." Soap says in a tone. "I really am the best in my field." I try to reassure them.
"I bet you are." Gaz says. "Well here we are." He continues.
My eyes begin to examine our surroundings. Their was a long hallway with blue tinge lights and then another room about a few feet's from mine.
Soap points at the door that was nearby. "That's mine." Soap says, "if you wanna borrow a cup of sugar." He chuckles.
"Well it was nice meeting you mouse get some rest, even though you already got some." Gaz said.
"Thank you.. uh goodnight." I open the door and close it behind me.
I look at the empty room with a bed, night stand and closest.
Everything seems so out of place it didn't seem very homey but again I guess I would have to make it home.
I take out all my stuff and groan seeing my clothes fuck me did it all shrink in dryer?
Home sweet home.
