"What do you mean." Price yells at us.

Me, Gaz, and Soap stand straight as he lectured us.

"How could you just let him walk away?" He continues.

When we got back we didn't even know how to explain it, Keegan was gone and it seemed like I was the one who had to take the fall for his disappearance, how exactly is it my fault that a grown man left?

It's not like I'm his mother? And he fucking sounded like he was on drugs.

"Sir-" Soap tries to speak.

"Shut it!" Price shuts him down quickly. "He just left and you just left him? And mouse how could you let him do that!"

I stare straight ahead.

Of course I'm never phased by a man yelling at me, maybe if it was ghost but Price didn't send that type of shiver down my back.

"How stupid are you to let your partner go?" Price gets in my face. I stare into his eyes, not knowing if I should speak or would I get in trouble for doing that?

"Well." He breathes into my face.

"I was under the impression that he was on drugs, sir." I state, he chuckles at my words.

"Drugs! You think one of the best men I've ever met! Scratch that one of the best military men was on drugs!" He yells as he pulls away from me.

"He was uttering nonsense, sir." Soap adds onto my words.

Price chuckles once again, "All of you! Out of my sight at once."

"Yes sir." We all say in sync and walk away.

Fuck me.

We just walked in silence not knowing what to say to each other. It was like getting yelled at by your dad.

Well I wouldn't know but I think this is exactly how it would feel!

"Alright it's just us mouse what happened." Soap states turning to look at me, I give him a confused look back. "What?" I say back in a sassy tone.

"What happened, Keegan would never just leave unless you had something to do with it." He responds. "You can't seriously think I had something to do with that." I purse my lips.

"It's the only theory, mouse" Gaz adds on.

"Oh shut up, it's not my fault a grown fucking man left! He has his own free will." I stated, and gave them both a look.

"Did you sleep with him?" Soap bluntly states.

I choke on my own words, "what." I add on.

"Answer the question." Soap seemed like he had no emotions towards me not anger not happy, just nothing. I didn't think price yelking at him would have this sort of affect on him.

"If I did why would it be your business soap." I cross my arms. "This is why we rarely have women on this team." Gaz adds on.

"What?" I actually say in a shocked tone. I thought they were professional I thought they didn't care about gender. "Never mind." Gaz scoffs.

Anger began to raise into my eyes, pure red all i wanted to do was hit him.

"What!" I yell, before I knew it i began hitting him with my bare fist just hitting his chest, I didn't even notice I was crying.

"Stop it mouse!" I could hear Soap yelling as he tried to pull me off Gaz.

"YOU STOP IT!" I yell again as I pressed Gazs whole body onto the ground.

Before I could get more damage in I feel myself being lifted up the air. I kick and scream trying to get more in.

"That's enough mouse." He says as he pulls me away from Gaz. I let my whole collapse onto his hold, I let out a loud exhale and didn't even notice I was crying until my consciousness came back.

"I'm sorry." I whisper as ghost leads us away from all of it.

I heavily breathe in his arm and look down at my knuckles that were now bloody and bruised.

He puts me down, I look up at him not knowing what to say. It felt like seeing a ghost, mind the pun.

I felt pathetic, why did my emotions get the best of me. But I worked hard so hard just for Gaz to say something like that?

He doesnt say anything for a second and his stares at me. Probably seeing how much of a mess I looked, with tears in my eyes, a bloody face and crazy hair.

"What's wrong with you?" He finally says.

There it is. My heart dropped, he didn't even yell he said it in a distant tone that made it hurt even more.

No words could or would come out, i disappointed him and that somehow hurt more than ever.

"Look at you, mouse YOURE a mess." He says and he walks away from, I hear something opening.

I look down not even wanting to make eye contact with him.

"I'm sorry." Is all that could leave my mouth.

"You're pathetic" he walks closer to me and I could hear a crinkle in his hands.

He grasps my bruised hands and puts ice on them. I wince. "I really am sorry." I look up at him as he continues applying the ice.

"I'm not pathetic I worked hard to get where I am." My voice cracks, i probably did seem pathetic since I've already cried in front of him, fucking TWICE to add.

"I know you did." He whispers back.

"I don't know why Keegan did what he did but it wasn't my fault, I just- I just." I struggled to throw out the words.

"You slept with him." He finishes my sentance.

"It didn't mean anything I promise." I say, I don't know why I said that, like he cared but I wanted him to know that. "You can hate me if you want but it didn't mean anything to me." I examine his eyes.

"I don't hate you, we've all done stupid things like that, I'm just disappointed you almost threw it all away for a man who just wanted to fuck you." He eases me.

Yeah well he wasn't the one I wanted to fuck so he was all I had.

"Is price going to find out?" I ask as he moves the ice to the other hand.

"No I'll talk to Gaz and Soap." He responds.

"Thank you." I whisper.
