32 || His Confession

A week had passed and Aris was still unconscious. After what happened back to the Forde Museum, the doctor announced that Aris shut down his body and mind in order to heal, and because he ran out of magic.

He will take his time to regain his magic again and also to heal.

Titus sat beside his unconscious son laying at his bed, he stared at the scars littered at the boy's wrist and can't help but to pity his son and himself.

He wanted to be close to his youngest son although he was always stuck with his work as the King of the kingdom. It was hard for him to seek time for his sons. Thadeus didn't mind though, knowing that he had his father since little and he knew that his title as the current king is hard especially handling the kingdom and some of the lands they had outside. He was kept at work for alliances and making sure that there's no war against their land.

After the confrontation between Thadeus and Saga, he sent Thadeus back to his room while he talked to Saga.

He was mad, really mad that he have to remind himself that he can't kill the kid that day for hurting his precious son but after Saga talked to him, he calmed down, even though he is still furious of him. He left that day and set aside his anger to tend his son that is now healing silently yet fast.

Aura sat down to his bed watching TV when he heard the door opened and saw Thadeus entered their room with a tired face.

"Are you okay?" Aura asked putting the bowl of popcorn beside him.

"Yeah, just a little tired." He grumbled while he loosened up his tie and took off his jacket.

"You sure? I can go out and give you space of you want to rest--"

"I'm fine shorty. Thanks for your concern." The titan chuckled as he approached his husband and ruffled the boys hair making him flustered.

"You know, I'm this close to beating your ass up. Can you stop calling me shorty?! It's really annoying." He grumbled, getting annoyed by the thought of his husband calling him shorty.

He knows that he's not quite blessed with height, at least the titan should be sensitive with that.

Thadeus can't help but to chuckle seeing the boy huffed while crossing his arms against his chest while glaring at the television.

"Sorry love." The Titan husked leaning down to place a chaste kiss to the boy's hair.

Lately, their relationship started to grew more unusual. They started opening up. Aura started being concerned with the Titan, trying to tend him like giving him his space when he's not in the mood, asking if he's alright, cooking for him, helping the titan out with some paperwork just like what he did a moment ago since his father if too occupied with Aris and he's happy with it too. At least Titus can give Aris the attention that Aris wants from a father although Aris is still unconscious.

On the other hand, Thadeus started to be more comfortable to him. Giving him small and chaste kisses everytime he can get an opportunity, hugging the boy while nuzzling his face into Aura's hair or neck and every sane thing would do a husband to his spouse. Not that Aura minded since he enjoyed it somehow. He never witnessed this kind of attitude from Thadeus besides of him being a jerk sometimes.

He would call Aura some pet names and his favorite nickname is 'shorty'. He enjoyed seeing Aura getting flustered and at the same time, annoyed with his little actions.

"How's your day?" Thadeus asked as he sat beside Aura.

"I'm fine. I just visited Aris a while ago. You should tell Dad to get some rest you know." Aura chirped when he saw Titus trying to organize Aris room and cleaned it while watching his son out. He was restless throughout the days and nights.
