As soon as we entered the portal, I was greeted by the fresh cool breeze of wind. We're now standing in the ground inside a forest. I can hear the birds chirping somewhere and the subtle bristle of the tress as they dance with the wind.
"Let's go Aura, before someone sees us ." Aunt Tiara called me looking around as if someone's looking at us.
"Okay?" I replied, quite unsure as I followed her behind. The two of us walked together for a moment until we reached the road where a car is waiting for us.
"Oh, is that a car?" I asked in confusion.
"Yes. Your world and Zelquestria are alike, but we have magic, powers and other stuffs that they don't have." Tiara replied to me.
"Oh." I replied dumbly. A guard or butler opened the door for us. Tiara motioned me to go first which I obliged and she followed behind until the butler closed the door behind. He went to the passenger seat and the vehicle started moving.
"Zelquestria has technology, and other things humans does. That's why we have cars." He heard Tiara spoke.
"Oh, I thought Zelquestria would be far from what I have imagine like, instead of car, I expected like carriage or something." I replied in pure honesty and Tiara chuckled beside me.
"We also have that but riding in a magical car is just what we need for the job." She winked at me and I smiled awkwardly there.
The car goes silent for a moment until I realized the car has stopped.
"We're here." Tiara spoke and the car opened.
She stepped out and followed by me. I stared at the huge double gates in front of me, and behind it was a huge and magnificent buildings.
I was startled a bit when the gates slowly opened, making us to step inside until we were walking down the road.
"Where are we Aunt Tiara? And why are we here?" I asked in confusion as I followed her.
"This is Diamond Academy, and this place is where you are starting to study now."
"What?!" I gasped in wide eyes.
"I know it's too much to take in but, you have bo choice Aurora."
"I know but, does the people here have powers or something?"
"Yes, they had."
"Yes, they had, but how about me? I don't have one." I exclaimed as the two of us started to climb upstairs.
"You do have Aurora, but it was still sleeping. Day will come and you'll see what kind of power you possess."
"But how can I do that if I'm surrounded with people like you?"
"You have protection embedded in your jewel in your arm Aurora, so basically no one could hurt you. Except if--"
"Except what?"
"Except if the jewel is broken. With that, your protection will be broken also, just like your seal." The moment she said that, we stopped in front of the double doors. She knocked politely and a short "Come in." replied and then, she pushed the door inside making the two of us enter.
"Good morning Queen Tiara. What can I do for you?" The woman who I supposed to be in charge of the registrar. This would be the registration office.
"I'm here to enroll him." Tiara replied looking at me. The woman looked at me and, inspecting me shamelessly until her eyes landed back towards Tiara.
