Nice Seeing You Again (Ch.7)

~Levi's POV~

I walked up to Mikasa as I normally do. I used to feel nervous around her. But now, It's only natural that we hang out every single day.

"Hi Levi!" She greeted.

"Hi, brat!" I said.

I couldn't stay stoic like I normally am around her. She felt different. She's not like everyone else who judges me.

I sat next to her as we talked about stuff. Nothing much.

Just before the bell rang, my friend Hanji, called me.

"Oh, I gotta go now. See you later, brat." I said as I packed my bag and met her behind the classroom.

"What do you need, shitty glasses?" I asked, annoyed.

She ignored my question.

"Have you heard of what happened to that douchebag and Mikasa?" She asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Didn't you hear his announcement? He wants you to stay away from Mikasa." She explained.

"Tch, what will he do about it?" I asked.

"Meet him at the park tomorrow with Mikasa. He wants to speak with you." She said.

"Why does Mikasa have to come with me?" I asked with a hint of anger in my voice.

"He reckons that you go with Mikasa." She said.

"Tch." I replied plainly.

Hanji just flickered her eyes from me to the door.

"I'm gonna go now. See you later, Shorty!" She said gleefully.

I thought about what she said. Confused, I decided to talk to Mikasa about it.

"Mikasa, can I ask you something?" I asked her.

"You just did, you doof!" She said with a faint laugh.

I stared at her for a few seconds before she spoke again.

"Ok, what is it?" She asked.

"Do you wanna go to the park tomorrow afternoon?" I asked.

"Are you asking me on a date?" She asked with an unamused look.

"N-no..." I said while I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Ok, fine. I'll go with you." She said while flashing a half-smile and quickly turning away.

(The Next Day)

~Mikasa's POV~

I didn't know what was going on. I just dressed up quickly. I sat at the foot of the bed in my new apartment, waiting for Levi.

After a few minutes, I hear knocking on the door.

I hastily get out of my room and to the living room.

I open the door to be greeted by an unamused Levi standing infront of me.

"Uh...is there a problem?" I asked worriedly.

He shook his head, no.

I feel something strange about Levi. As if he's annoyed, mad and sad at the same time.

I heard him curse under his breath.

He took a deep sigh. "Ready to go?" He asked.

I nodded reluctantly as I grabbed my keys. We hopped on to his car.

The trip was awkward. We didn't speak. We didn't do anything. We just glanced at each other every once in a while.

(At The Park)

"We're here." He said with no emotion whatsoever.

"L-Levi? Is there a problem?" I asked.

No response.

"Follow me." He said as he slammed his car's door.

He grabbed me by the wrist. We walked to the back of the neighborhood. The forest.

He brought out his butterfly knife and opened it.

"Dang, he's skilled at that thing. But on what...or who is he going to use that on?" I thought.

After a few more minutes of walking, he finally stops, lets go of me, and removes his jacket.

"So you finally arrived..." A loud, familiar voice boomed from behind the trees.

I could hear faint footsteps...getting stronger everytime.

I looked at Levi. Pure hatred was what I saw in his eyes.

When the voice finally came closer. It stopped.

Suddenly, he laughed faintly. "Nice seeing you again, Mikasa." He said stepping out in front of us.

A wide grin spread across his face.

"Eren?"
