Okay, first things first. Sorry for the contest/fun masquerading as a chapter. I do think this will be fun though...once I get to the details, that is.
I am going to try to write like crazy over the next few days to get this caught up before I have the baby. That means that I have about 28 weeks of material to cover before then. Fortunately, I'm not going to bore you with all of the details. I think that if my son, my body, and the baby cooperate, I could have it caught up by Friday...which will mean lots of updates.
Okay, now for the fun. Not sure anyone will want to participate, but I think we should have a game.
A) When do you think baby will arrive? I am looking for a date and time here. Since baby will be born in the eastern time zone of the United States, those are the times that we will use.
B) Tie-breaker question: What do you think s/he will weigh? I am looking for pounds and ounces. If I have to try to convert metric...well...there's a reason I'm not a mathmagician. Nor a mathematician.
What will you win? That, I'm trying to figure out. If you're a writer, I can definitely offer a critique on the first three chapters of one of your stories. It may take some time to get to it, but I will definitely do that. I can give a dedication if that's something you want, maybe even a shout-out. If you're a reader, I can easily give a dedication, maybe critique a friend's work (if said friend is in agreement). I'm definitely up for ideas. So more could definitely be added into the mix.

Okay, so you can make educated guesses, here are some details:
Regarding the date:
Due date is June 6, 2015
If I haven't had the baby before, I will be induced on June 1, 2015.
I had my last progesterone shot on May 8.
On May 8, I was 70% effaced and my cervix was not dilated.
Regarding the weight:
My other children's weights: Lesa = 7 lbs 4 oz. Lyn = 9 lbs 6 oz. Timmy = 8 lbs 10 oz (but he was born at 36 weeks, 4 days). Doctor has said this baby is big, but his/her growth spurt has tapered off according to the ultrasound.
