"Hello, what's up?" I said over the phone to my sister Becky.
"I'm fine oh, how are you doing?" she asked, I was currently driving some annoying passengers all three of them were girls, I had my airpods on.
"I'm good"
"Me I'm back oh" she said and I chuckled, just then one of the lady from the back spoke.
"Bros abeg you go change the location oh, carry us go Soul lounge" she said, making me frown.
"Anh anh, that place far oh. No be wetin we talk be this nau, una money go add be that because we don almost reach where una first talk.. " I was saying when another spoke again
"Guy for why nau? Why you like money like this?" she asked and Becky burst out into laughter. "in fact just drive we go pay, how much be the money sef?" she yelled
"If the money no big for you, you for get your own car nau," I said and she hissed,
"Just calm down bro, I didn't know you had to deal with people like this everyday" she said while holding back her laughter.
"Yeah laugh all you want, this is what I go through practically everyday, but what can I do? It's just for a while" I said, "And as I was saying, why do you sound like you didn't want to return?"
"Enh? For why? You know I can't miss your big day" she said, and that made me smile.
How was your trip? And also you and I have a score to settle. That lie you told us, you will face the consequences" I said and she groaned.
"Ooohh! I thought we have passed that already? Please just help me keep the secret, abeg" she said and I shook my head.
"So you are still working by this time?" she asked,
"Yeah," I said.
"Na wa oh, won't you go home to your wife? It's getting late already"
"Hmm, we had another fight because of Vera, all we did was have lunch it was just to say thank you for her help oh, and you know how Sophie can be. She took it personal and now we ain't talking" I said
"Anh Anh, that's too much. Try explaining things to her nau, anyways I'm sure she'll come around" she said
"Yeah I hope so" I replied. I looked at my phone to see Angel started calling me again.
"I'll come by the house tomorrow so that I can see my Angel" she said
"Yeah I'm sure she can't wait to see you too, she's actually killing my phone with lots of calls now." I said looking at my phone, there was also some from Jaff, what does he want?
"Really?"
"Yeah but I'll call her later.. " I said
"No oh please call her now, you know she's pregnant it might be important" she said
"OK I will"
"Alright, I'll call you later, and please let me know what the problem is" she said making me chuckle
"Alright, someone's more matured" I commented and she groaned
"Na you sabi oh, goodbye" she said and then she hung up.
Then I continued to drive, we were almost at the club when Angel started calling again, shit I forgot to call her back, I immediately answered.
"Oh my God Daniel, where did you keep your phone nau? Why weren't you picking up my calls?" she asked.
