It's the next day and the routine starts but instead of grabbing an apple out the door I grab a banana, a smirk appears on my face thinking todays gonna be different, today I'm gonna finally be different I'm gonna change I'm gonna conquer the world! Heading over to the bus stop I've finished half my banana, I almost throw it away before opening my backpack and putting it in my lunchbox. I have a bright smile as I step on the bus to my usual seat, I stop myself remembering im gonna change, every seat is taken except my usual 2 empty seats and another empty seat next to.. Lucien. Lucien Ravenclaw. The other quiet kid, they're staring out the window with a big black hoodie covering almost their entire body. Black sweat pants covering the rest. Lucien was cool, they were quiet and didn't bother anyone but they were also their own person. They had meaning and even though they stuck to themselves, they did cool things, I looked up to Lucien, but I do admit I did find them a bit scary. Last year There was a rumour if you looked Lucien in the eyes you turned to stone. It lasted for a month til the person who started it got chlamydia, the news spread and they got so embarrassed they had to move schools. Nobody remembered Lucien turning people to stone after that. It's not their only rumour, they've had loads, in fact everyone here has had a rumour about them
Even me! The schools even known for having so much drama and rumours that it got on the news! It wasn't much and probably not a good thing but everyone was really excited about it. I realize I'm staring at Lucien before I look away and sit in my seat.
