This will be the rewritten version of a story I made called 'The Player'. It was rewritten because of many mistakes grammar wise and there are some elements of the story I wanted to change and also add like character bonding moments, character backstories, and etc. As for the sequel story I made to that I might be rewritting that one aswell depending on how I go with this one.
This story is based on the Underplayer comic so I would recommend looking at that first before reading this, but I don't think it will be needed because this is my version of the AU that would combine elements from the comic, other undertale comics, undertale theories, and personal headcanons.
I will be referring to characters like Frisk and Chara as They since that's how they are referred to in-game. As for The Player, I will be referring to them as He and They since that is how people address them in the comic.
