The tired Johan finally rests his body after countless nights of being in the office with his co-workers to solve the mystery of the not-so-simple murder case they've been assigned.

He isn't unfamiliar with the feeling of fatigue to the point of passing out, that's why he's been able to stay up for many nights without caffeine.

The sleeping body of Johan rests still until it jolts up for no apparent reason.

"What... was that?"

Still comprehending the dream he experienced, his confusion stemmed from the randomness of having that dream. He didn't know what triggered it but for now, it did not matter.

Getting himself together, and ignoring the situation was something he had to do.

"The AC must've broken down, this heat is suffocating."

He grabs a cup of water to hydrate himself.

This heat present in the room is a result of his air conditioner not functioning as it should. Another reason is simply the summer heat as there is not a cloud in the sky.

It's around 6 am, a good time to wake up as a detective— but not for someone sleep deprived.

Moving forward with the day, the somewhat tired, Johan, conducts his morning rituals like always.

A healthy mind and healthy body are essential in maximizing your efficiency after all.

No time wasted and no energy wasted is something someone could not dream of doing. Johan, on the other hand, puts on display the impossible being put into practice. He does almost everything with purpose and to get closer to his goal. Every day, his weaknesses get covered by strengths and only great thinkers can see through the disguise.

That's why he turns weaknesses into his strengths essentially covering all areas and vulnerabilities a human would normally have to worry about.

Johan's apartment is right beside the emergency stairs making for a convenient location. Exiting the building, he goes to a nearby place for breakfast and while waiting, he'll hire a repairman to fix the AC.

'Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, he was mentioned in the dream I had; I'm not one to believe in dreams being a foresight of the future but I can imagine I'll be meeting him again.'

Meeting Kiyotaka by complete coincidence caught Johan off guard and he couldn't do anything about it except some wordplay. Even that may have been too much.

One part of him wants to stay as a detective to further fill his curiosity on how much further he can take his deduction and mental skill.  Deep inside, Johan knows that it may as well be infinite— his infinitesimal void consumes anything as long as that stays alive to feast upon what it's given.

Shortly after breakfast, Johan takes off to meet a friend of his and ignores the dream he had.

The significance of that dream is something that thing tried conveying to him. No matter the signs, Johan wouldn't catch on to that fact not because he brushed it aside, but because his main focus is the task at hand; he'll get back to that dream later.
