Strangely enough, of all the buildings he'd seen in this town the Artaud Theater was easily the one in the best condition, despite also being one of the oldest. It was a stage theater, so people would have performed live. While Travis remembered coming here before though, he couldn't for the life of him remember what show played. He couldn't visualize any of it, even the building itself wasn't quite familiar. All he knew was; he was here once; and that was it.
If the lobby was any indication, the rest of the building would be covered in the same thick layer of dust. He wasn't sure what to expect passed that, as-- after taking stock of what was on him when he left the Sanitarium-- he didn't have a gun, or any other kind of weapon, much like the last time he woke up. All he had was the Sanitarium map, which he threw on the ground the second he walked out, and a few miscellaneous notes he'd collected. So he was surprised to find when he entered the auditorium most of the dim lights were still lit.
Even more surprising, there was someone sitting in the aisle seat of the fifth row. The only thing that somehow didn't surprise him, was who it was, as she seemed to be one of the only occupants of Silent Hill.
"What are you doing in here, Lisa?" Travis asked, sitting on the arm of the wooden chair in front of her.
Lisa smiled halfheartedly. "Sorry if I scared you... I thought I was the only one in here."
"It's dangerous," Travis huffed.
"Dangerous?" Lisa laughed. "You're kidding!" She stood up, walking to the middle of the aisle. "... The door was open, so I let myself in." Folding her arms behind her back, she disregarded Travis and looked to the stage. "I just love the theater, Travis. I want to be an actress." She hung her head. "But, mom was a nurse, and her mom was a nurse... So, I'm going to be a nurse. I've got what it takes though..."
Travis crossed his arms, just trying to piece together where Lisa was going with this line of thought. He wondered if even she knew. The way she moved-- or rather, swayed-- as she walked, the slow, low voice, the distant look in her eyes. It was either she was in a constant state of daydreaming, or she was drugged.
He started believing the latter more when she turned back to him, softly raising a hand to his arm. He was so caught off guard he froze for a second.
"I can't stop thinking about you, Travis," Lisa smiled. "I want you. You're all I think about. Let's get the hell out of this crazy town."
Travis rolled his eyes.
"Run off-- the two of us," Lisa moved a little closer. "We could be so good together."
"Alright enough," Travis side-stepped out of the way. He didn't believe one second of her act, but she seemed mighty pleased with herself.
"See?" Lisa spun around, facing him again with her hands on her hips, all proud of herself. "I could be a star!"
She was a child, and she was acting like a child. It was so ridiculous, Travis couldn't help laughing it. "Yeah..."
