You immediately shot up in bed to a loud crash of thunder. Your heart started to pound against your chest, you've always been terrified of thunderstorms, and Jisoo knows that.
Your girlfriend was still sleeping beside you, bringing you a bit of comfort by just knowing she was there and you were safe with her but it wasn't enough to calm your fear completely.
She's had a long and rough week and this was the first night that she has had a peaceful sleep, so you hated the thought of waking her up, so you decided to just lay back down and try to go back to sleep.
About five minutes after another loud crash of thunder hit, causing you to jump. A small whimper escaped your lips as your heart beat sped up again.
You move a bit closer to Jisoo and snuggled up to her, causing her to stir in her sleep. You didn't want to disturb her sleep, but you needed her more than anything at the moment.
You bit your lip as your hand fell to her shoulder, causing her to stir a bit more.
"Jisoo baby, please wake up." You say with a whimper following.
She sensed the fear in you voice so she jolted up almost immediately, just when more thunder hit.
"I'm sorry I didn't wanna wake you but you know how much I hate storms and I really needed you." You said.
"Oh baby, don't be sorry. Yes I do know how much you hate storms. I'm here now though." She said before laying back down and opening her arms causing you to smile and move into them.
Almost all your fear washed away, as her warm embrace comforted you. You let out a sigh of relief and moved your legs to tangle with hers.
"Are you okay?" She said softly while rubbing your back.
"Yes I'm ok, I was just scared. I'm sorry for waking you I really am and I love you so much." You said
"Don't be sorry, I don't mind. I'm here now, and I love you too. Are you sleepy at all?"
"Yes" you replied. "Im going to try and sleep, but thank you and goodnight I love you."
"Of course. I love you more darling, goodnight" she said.
She began to run her fingers through your hair, causing you to get sleepier and sleepier till you eventually fell asleep with a smile on your face.
