You could tell from the moment you walked in the front door, something was off. Jisoo was ignoring your texts all day, and now she's just sitting on the couch.
The sparkles in her eyes were far gone, which made the sparkle in yours also fade slightly. She looked up at you with teary eyes and motioned for you to sit next to her.
"Hi" you said. "Everything okay? You're making me think that you're breaking up with me or something."
It was silent for a few seconds, then she started to speak. "y/n, the spark that me and you once had is almost gone. I don't want it to be gone completely. We need some time apart. I'm so sorry."
You knew what she was talking about. But you knew you both could fix it with open communication. But that's something Jisoo has a rough time with.
"We can fix this." You said while holding back sobs.
She shook her head. "We can't right now. We need space. It hurts me too. I can't do it"
You're sobs started to come out, and it broke her heart as she started crying too.
"Jisoo please" you sobbed, practically begging her. "Don't leave. Please. We can fix this, just communicate with me!"
You gave up when she didn't respond.
You got up and walked to the front door. "I'll be back sometime soon to get my things. I don't wanna be here right now."
You started walking to your closest friend to you, which is Lisa.
Once you got there you started to knock on the door. She opened the door to see you standing there with mascara dripping down your face and neck.
"y/n?!" She asked in shock before pulling you into the house. You both sat on the couch and she pulled you into her arms.
"Jisoo broke up with me" you sobbed.
"Oh honey, I'm so sorry. What happened?"
"I can't." You cried. "I can't talk about it right now."
Lisa held you in her arms as you screamed and cried, angry at Jisoo for breaking your heart, and making you more vulnerable than ever before.
