26~ Rescued

It was dark.

Quiet, but so loud.

Y/n covered her ears, tucking her knees to her chest as she squeezed her eyes shut.

Where was she?

"Peach." A familiar voice called out. It echoed through her ear drums, making her snap her head up instantly. She could never forget his voice.

A man stood far away, looking at Y/n. She could tell who it was just off of his stance alone.

"Nori..." she croaked, reaching her hand out as she stumbled towards him.

"You're so strong, Peach." He smiled so gentle, it melted Y/n's heart. His eyes were soft, his hands opened up welcoming her. Just as she remembered.

"Nori, i miss you." Y/n cried out, trying to get to him. Even if she ran, they stayed the same distance apart. "Please... come back to me."

"I can't, love." He shook his head, taking a single step forward. "You need to do this alone. I know you can, its only possible for you."

"I.. I don't know how to... it's all too much without you!" Y/n cried, falling to her knees, still trying to reach him. "Please... tell me what to do!"

"Only you can decide. This is your path, mine split a long while back, Peach. Im dead, remember?" He said, taking another step forward.

"You're not dead, you're still alive in my heart! I still love you.." Y/n wiped her tears and placed her hand over her heart.

"No, you don't. Not anymore. You love Shoto, you love him and not me." Nori stepped forward once more, now inching closer. "You can do this, with him. Im not needed anymore."

"You're wrong, Nori. I'll always need you!" Y/n tried to stand up, but she was frozen. She wasn't able to move from her knelt position.

"Listen to me Y/n." He said sternly, his arms now crossed and her looked down at her. She instantly shut up and gazed at him. "You can do this. I was weak, i failed to do my mission, and i failed to protect you. But you can still thrive. You don't need to become a Hero to be happy, your path has multiple roads, and only you can decide. Please, stop before you hurt yourself more than you already have."

"But-"

"You need to wake up now." He cut her off, backing away. "I love you so much, Peach. You meant the world to me, and I wouldn't change a thing."

Y/n fell back, and she felt as if she clicked back into her body. She jolted, her eyes open as she looked around.

She expected to see the lab, but instead she saw an unfamiliar hospital room. She was alone, but there were blankets and a jacket on the couch across from the bed like someone had slept there.

Y/n's body ached as she rested back into the bed, thinking about her dream. Or, what she assumed was a dream.

She then remembered the last thing she heard before losing consciousness, and panicked. She held her hand up, looking at the blanket as she focused. No matter how hard she tried she was unable to use her telekinesis quirk.

She next tried to activate Ghost Sight, but failed. She wasn't able to see the ghosts, as well as communicate with them.

Was that doctor really able to steak her quirk? And how did she get into the hospital?

The door to her room opening brought her out of her panicked state, and she saw her brother.

"Y/n!" He shouted, running to her side quickly. He grabbed her hand and smiled, "oh im so glad you're finally awake!"
