Corey and Jake manage to get through the big crowds without losing eachother since they were holding each others hands of course until they got to the stage where GVF will be perforimg.
They got through backstage where Jake immediately got his guitar strapped over him from one of the roadies. Coery let go of his hand and looked behing her seeing the decent sized crowd inpatiently waiting for music to be played.
"How do I look?" Jake asked the girl in front of him. Corey turned back around to see Jake with his '61 Gibson Les Paul SG going well with the rest of his outfit.

From his long brown hair to his guitar and down all the way to his chelsea boots Corey couldn't help but stop and stare at him memerzied on how he looks.
"Corey you there? helloooo" Jake said snapping his fingers in front of the girl's face pulling her out of her thoughts. "Huh uh yeah sorry you um...you look good" Corey says unable to pull the words out of her mouth which Jake just smiles to.
"JAKE COME ON!" Sam yells to his older brother alerting that their gonna be on soon. Jake looks back and sighs and back at the women in front of him. "finish our converstation later" Jake says and then plants a kiss on Corey's cheek a gesture the boys always do to her for their short way of saying "Thank you". Corey smiles and then watch Jake walk onstage with his brothers and friend as they did a small soundcheck.
"So before we start our first song and also make sure everything is checked we actually like to invite someone onstage to sing the first song with us someone we just reconncted and reunited with again today everyone please give a warm welcome Corinna Luna Nicks Everybody!" Josh yells in the mic. Corey eyes widened as she didn't think she would already be onstage for their opening song. As much as she loves performing with the boys she couldn't help but feel like she always takes the credit and the attention when it's about them right now. One of the roadies give her a mic as she just excepts it in her hand as she just stares at them.
The crowd cheers of course familiar with the womens name as they looked around waiting for her to appear as she was just standing there in the wings.
"COME ON COREY" Josh's loud voice echoes through the mic as he encourages her. Corey looks around and then sighs putting on a smile as she walks onstage waving at the people in the crowd. She walks giving Jake a pat on his shlouder and then walks towards Josh on his left side swinging her arm around his shoulder. "So you know the song were gonna be doing right now?" Josh asks her making Corey snort. "I mean yeah I've been performing this song with you for years let alone actually wrote and recorded this song with you." Corey says which was true Greta's first song being called 'Highway Tune' when they first wrote it in their highschools years (possibly junior or sophomore year) Corey was there to help until Josh asked if she wanted to actually do the full song with them which she declined to saying that she didn't want to but after many begging on their knees and saying 'Please' over and over again she accepted leading to their first performance then their record deal leading to their musci video for the song and Corey going with them everywhere,every tour to just sing one song with her friends.
"Alright then hopefully you all know this song then if not just enjoy it then" Josh says to the audience and then looks back at Jake nodding for approval to start the song. Jake started with two small strums and then leading onto the opening riff to their song.
Josh then lets out his iconic opening yell as Danny started banging on his drums as well as Sammy started playing the bass leding Jake back to playing first verse of the song. Corey joined also letting out the same yell also as her and Josh's yells synced together,
"Ooh mama We're stopping at the green light girl Because I want to get your signal No going at the green light girl Because I want to be with you now You are my special You are my special You are my midnight,midnight yeah" Josh sang so did Corey but more like backup vocals for the song but still sang the major lines.
''So sweet So fine So nice All mine Mine mine Mine mine Ooh'' Josh and Corey sang the chorus together very well as people danced and sang to the duo onstage singing.
''We're stopping on the highway girl Cause I want to burn my gas There's one girl that I know I'm never gonna pass She is my special She is my special She is my midnight.midnight yeah" The two sang with Corey mostly on the harmonies.
''So sweet So fine So nice All mine Mine mine Mine mine Ooh'' The two sang which then led to Jake playing his solo. He played the first 2 seconds of it then his gutair had no noise come out of it. He tried playing again but nothing as there was techinal differculties on it. One of the tech guys came and helped him fixed his situation as Josh started vocalizing to entertain the crowd. Corey giggles seeing Jake struggle but still smiles as he had a calm reaction as he fiddled with his tuning pegs. Sam and Danny still played their instruments until Jake's gutair finally worked as he then went back to playing his solo. Corey then walked to him and started dancing next to him she swayed her hips to beat of the solo as she also had one of her legs over his leg as they standed as there faces were also three inches away to where they can feel there breaths on eachother. Jake looked at her as he moves his torso back and fourth his sigature move when he plays. The sexual tension between the two onstage was surreal but in a good way

After the solo they went back to the beginning riff of the song until they build up to same yell Josh and Corey did in the beginning.
"So sweet So fine So nice All mine Mine mine Mine mine Ooh sugar" Josh and Corey finish off the song as people started cheering and clapping. Corey side hugged Jake kissing his cheek walking to the middle of the stage where Josh was and then fist bumps Sam. She sat infront of the drums putting her mic to the side turning it off crossing her leg over the other one and moving her dress down more as her shawl fell down her shoulders to her elbows. She watched as the boys started to play their second song 'Edge Of Darkness' she chuckles as she still saw Jake struggle with sound coming out of his gutair but he still stayed strong and tried to still played and fix it. Corey grabs her black colored cigarettes from her pocket in her dress she pulled one stick out holding it between her index finger and middle finger. She also grabs her lighter, lighting up her cigarette inhaling the tobacco and then blowing it out in the air. Before she can take another puff Jake immediatley takes the cancer stick from the girl as he takes a puff blowing the smoke in the air with a smug grin on his face making Corey roll her eyes.
