Stoick was placed in a boat for the traditional viking funeral, they watched it glide through the water each of them a bow in their hands gathered on the battlefield as they had nothing else just the eleven people stuck on the island with no dragons, it was a shame that Stoick didn't get this done at Berk where it should be, where he was born and the rest of the people there around them, but it couldn't be so. There was complete silence only the wind could be heard as Gobber spoke, even Eret was quiet and he only just meat the man, Caleb watched his sister that stood still the bow clinched in her hand, she knew Stoick longer then he did, she spends ten years with the man while he had three, he respected the man, a big respect and of course they could talk, but Valerie had a closer relationship with him he would be her father in law. When Gobber was done speaking Hiccup stepped forward lighting tha arrow before drawing back the string taking the first shot, the arrowed flied hitting the boat lighting up a small flame, and the rest followed, ten more arrows followed lighting up the boat and they watched as the flames rose high taking everything from the boat.

"I'm sorry, dad." he spoke and Valerie let out a breath looking at him when he glanced down sympathy on her face, Caleb stood still watching his future brother in law, glancing at his sister he squeezed her shoulder walking to Astrid who looked at him, as comforted her by holding her close chin resting on the blondes shoulder, she met her friends gaze holding out her hand for her to take, which she did enjoying the comfort. "I'm not the chief that you wanted me to be. And I'm not the peacekeeper I thought I was. I don't know..." he started trailing off glancing down not being able to finish his sentence, Valka let out a breath looking at her son, walking forward placing her fingers in his hair running her hands through it in a soothing manner before placing it on his shoulder "you came early into this world, you were such a wee thing so frail so fragile" she spoke softly looking at him she took a step standing beside him hand on his shoulder "I thought you'd never make it" she stated before a small smile formed on her face as they glanced ahead at the ship "but you're father he never doubted" she spoke stepping in front of him hands on his shoulders, he didn't look at her "he always said you would become the strongest of them all" she stated and he glanced up meeting her blue eyes as her hands went to his face whipping away a tear "and he was right. You have the heart of a chief and the soul of a dragon" she smiled pushing away his hair and placing a hand on his chest placing them back on his shoulders squeezing them "only you can bring our worlds together, that is who you are son" she stated hand going to his check, he glanced past her and she looked back stepping aside.

He stepped forward standing at the edge by the water looking at the flames that now lit up the fuggy area in front of him "I uh, I was always afraid of becoming my dad. Mostly because I thought I never could. How could you become someone that great, that brave, that selfless" he swallowed the lump in his throat a tear running down his check "I guess you can only try" he spoke and silence came once again, before he blinked a stern look coming on his face as he glanced up once again, turning around standing tall in front of them "a chief protects his own, a son carries something from both sides" he stated glancing at Valerie throwing the same words back at her as she told him not that long ago, when he questioned who he was. He looked at her and she couldn't help but smile as she met his gaze, they all looked at him. He stood as a leader, the leader that he made himself to be. "We're going back" he stated and Valerie couldn't help but smile and Astrid did the same looking at her friend "ug, with what?" Tuffnut asked and they turned to him as Ruffnut let out a scoff "he took all the dragons" she stated waving her arms but Hiccup just smiled, lifting his eyebrows. "Not all of them," he said, tilting his head.

Hiccup had done many stupid things, but this flying on adolescent dragons that didn't listen to anything was probably one on the top list, the screaches of the dragons went around the ice walls as they struggled to keep on as they waved in and out of the cave systems "we can't fly these things" Tuff shouted adjusting his helmet on his head "yeah no kidding!" Fishlegs shouted crashing into a snow pile before it went up again into the air, Valerie looked back hands clenching the spoke on her lightblue scuttleclaw, as it tumbled around in the air, the young woman holding on tightly "but won't the bewilderbeast take control of these guys as well?" Astrid asked getting up beside Hiccup as Valerie got on his other side looking at the blonde, "why do you think they were the only ones on the island?" she called back and Hiccup nodded "They're babies, they don't listen to anyone" he responded and Tuff let out a laugh from behind them "yeah, just like us" he exclaimed and Caleb smiled letting out a chuckle "more like Valerie!" he joked and she looked back at him sending a glare but couldn't help but smile "shut up, blue!" she called back, turning her head away earring a loud laugh from him at the nickname, the only reason he was called that was because of the eye color. Eret smiled remembering the name from when she was ten, where he laughed for a solid few minutes with her small voice trying to swear.

"This is very dangerous!" Gobber shouted at the small dragon smashing into the ice beside him, but he didn't seem to react, just adjusting his helmet as the small dragon flew in joining the others "some might suggest it's poorly conserved" he stated and Hiccup just glanced at him shrugging his shoulders "it's a good thing I never listen" was all he responded with, they split up an ice wall going between them, cutting him off as he spoke but just enough to get the question through "so what's the plan?" he asked and Hiccup's eyes narrowed as he looked at him "get Toothless back, and kick Drago's..." he was cut off by the ice between them, but all knew what was going to say, he was so ready to take the man down, he glanced ahead noticing the ice bridge, he cringed when Gobber hit the wall point blank.
