To do well on standardized tests, one must be smart, but pretend to be not smart
—The author of this book after acing the STAAR test
The STAAR Test is typically viewed as a test to determine cognitive levels. However, those that are truly geniuses (like me) are struggling on the test. Is this because we are not smart? I think not. The test is not smart. If you did badly on the test, you can cite this book as a professional reference. I have lots of experience with the STAAR. I have gotten commended on every one I have taken so far, and I have gotten perfect scores on 2 of them. This is not bragging, just expressing my qualifications. OK, I guess I am bragging a little. The thing that's annoying is that I overthink all of the questions. I end up having to pretend I'm stupid and think about the questions in the most basic terms. If you try and think about the logic of the questions, you will overthink and fail. Also if you think too basically, you will not do well and fail. In other words, you might as well screw the STAAR because you won't do well. You'll fail. You're welcome.
