This week went by so fast I didn't even realize my parents were coming back today...soo I was kinda surprised when I saw them sitting at the table in the morning.
[speaking Norwegian]
"Oh, good morning sweetie!" My mom greeted me.
"Got you and your brother some sweets from US. They're in the pantry." My dad said with a smile on his face. He must be so happy we didn't burn the whole stable or something.
"Morning! Thanks dad! How was your business trip?" I said sprinting to the pantry and grabbing half the sweets before Xavier arrives and eats them all.
"Unexpectedly beautiful and relaxing. Besides a few meetings we had a lot of free time actually." Wow my dad was in a very good mood.
"We'll show you later what amazing views there were!" Mom added "Where's Xavier?"
"Oh, about that...we did some cross-country yesterday and Ember fell off. He went with her at the hospital to make sure she's safe."
"Oh my-!! How is she feeling? Poor girl." Mom looked at me worried
"She's recovering. She hurt her head pretty bad." I didn't know what to tell them I didn't want them to blame it all on Xavier and also not to worry.

I started to explain them what happened yesterday and then how the whole week was.
After that I went to the stables to pass the time until Xavier came home with news. Today was a day off for all the horses but I took Honey out and did some western. Then I came back home and did some homework, which I never do btw.

Finally, Xavier arrived.

"Kass? You home?" He opened my door
"Yeah. How is she??"
"She'll be fine. She was lucky tho"
"Why did you take so long? You were there for like a whole day."
"It's my reposability to make sure she's safe.." He said with a 'duh' voice.
I sighed "At least she'll be fine. She's strong and besides,  it's not her first fall."
"True." He turned his back quick and headed towards his room.
"Wait. The party tonight? Is it still happening?" I asked Xavier
"Yes. But you're not coming." He said in a serious voice.
"What?! Of course I am! Even mom and dad said that I could go!"
"Kass I'm not in the mood to babysit you all night. If Ember came with you it would've been fine. But she can't come so you can't either."
"I do NOT need a babysitter! I can take care of myself and you know it!" I don't know when our parents appeared on the hallway but they were standing there silently.
"No, you can't. You're not coming end of discussion." He concluded the turned to his room.

"Your brother is right Kassy, you need someone trustworthy with you" mom looked at me as if I was 10 years old again.
"Huh...ok yeah fine whatever" I returned to my room, closed the door and started to get ready. If you tought I was just going to sit in my room all night, you were wrong. I waited until I heard Xavier leave and then left after 10 minutes.

The party was great! Had a few drinks just to make me dizzy and keep me in a good mood. But, of course the good mood didn't last too much. Apperantly someone told my amazing brother that I was there.

I felt a strong grip around my arm which immediately turned me to face him.
[speaking norwegian]
"Kassidy we need to talk outside." He let me go  and glared to the people starring at us. I didn't move an inch. "...Now!" He grabbed my arm again and tragged me outside.

"What do you want?" I asked him trying to keep my head straight.
"I told you NOT to come! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"I should be asking you the same question. Go to hell Xavier! It's like you don't want me near you anymore!"
"GO HOME NOW!" I couldn't look him in the eyes anymore so I took a step back and set on the stairs. He gave me one last look before going back inside.

Right when Xavier opened the door Jordan came out. They both stopped and looked at each other. Xavier scoffed and went inside.
Jordan grabbed my hands "Let's take you home."
"I don't want to go home." I whispered so that he wouldn't notice the hurt in my voice.
"Okay, but you can't stay here. It's freezing." His deep voice calmed me down. He leaded me to his car and we got in.

He looked at me for a few seconds as I was zoned out with tears in my eyes.
"Are you okay?" I couldn't believe the worry he had in his voice. It's like he really cared.
"Why do you care? Shouldn't you be inside comforting Xavier? Acctually, why are you here really?" I asked turning to face him not caring anymore if he sees my tears or not.
"Don't make it harder Kass. Please....Tell me what's wrong."
My tears rolled down my red cheeks instantly. I couldn't hold in my emotions anymore.
"I...I don't know what's wrong with me." My drunk self took over. I started crying with my face in my hands. Jordan pulled me in a gentle hug. I sobbed silently in his chest. After a few minutes of silence my eyes became heavy. I never appreciated silence so much until now. He knew I needed it. Right before falling asleep with his strong arms covering me, his soft voice woke me up.
"Kass...?" He looked down at me. "You're tired. Let's take you home now." I didn't want to go home at all. I wanted to stay there, in his arms.
"I'm not entering that house." I said lifting my head to look in his sparkly eyes.
"Then what do you suggest?"
"Hmm...the stables, we're going to the stables." The determination made him lift his eyebrows and start the car without questioning anything.

The ride to the stables was unexpectedly fun. Apparently we have the same taste in music so we vibed and blasted our favorite songs on the way to the stables. He was so different. The Jordan I knew had a very big ego which no one could break. But this one, a Jordan who sings along, is funny, comforts people...where was he hiding?

"Oh, pull up behind the stalls." He gave me a confused look. "I don't want more trouble with my parents dUmba$$"
"I know...dUmba$$..." he said copying my tone and laughing. I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

As we were entering the stables I saw the tension rising in him making his muscles even more visible trough his black shirt.
"Why are u so afraid of horses?" I said trying not to laugh when he attempted to relax.
"Am not! I just don't like their presence"
"Mmhm...yup sure" I smiled. He gave me a glare which made me laugh.
"What's so funny,  huh?"
I chuckled. "The fact that such a tough guy like you is afraid of a horse."
"I'm not! Look, I'll show you! Which one can I pet?" I instantly looked at the tallest horse there and smirked. God, he was so easy to manipulate.

I poited to Lovelord, a 18.2hh gelding.
As I was opening the stall door he asked
"So...how do I do this?"
I looked over at him and started laughing "what do you mean? Just put your hand on him, Mr. Brave."

He slowly raised his hand towards Lord but then he began to hesitate, lowering his hand. I quickly put my hand on his and slowly pushed it on Lord's fluffy nose. Jordan instantly calmed down and started petting the horse. He chuckled and I looked at him smiling. He turned his head towards me and we both looked into each other's eyes. After a few moments he took his hand off Lord and cleared his throat. "You hungry?"
"Pizza?" I asked smiling.
"Pizza." He said chuckling.

We drove all the way into town and got what we craved for. As we ate our slices we wandered around and been to some parts of the city I've never seen before. He told me all the funny stories about him and Xavier. He told about the first time my brother got on a motorcycle and didn't know how to drive it and ended up in a brook. He told me how they pranked their math teacher every year. We talked and laughed the whole time.

After we finished eating we threw away the pizza boxes and headed back to his car. I yawned.
"Tired?" He asked looking down at me with sparkling eyes as we walked down the empty streets.
"A little." I said rubbing my eyes. He gave me a look.  "...mmokay maybe a little more" I giggled as we got back in the car.
"So, where to miss?" He asked jokingly starting the engine.
"Good question." I sighed.
"Wait," he said confused stopping the engine "Aren't you going home? I know you're on bad terms with your parents but..." I interrupted him.
"I'm too afraid to go home now to be honest, I'm not ready to confront them. Plus...Xavier has to come up with a good apology for me."
"Right. I forgot where all that arrogance of yours has gone." He teased. I gave him a glare.
"I could say the same thing about your ego." I smirked.
"No, but really. Where are you going to spend the night?" He asked with a slightly worried voice.
"The stables I guess."
"Really? The stables?"
"What? You think it's the first time I'm not going home?" I laughed "I'll find a good spot to sleep there."
"Yeah...okay.." He started the engine again and drove off. I rested my head against the window slowly closing my eyes. There were a few minutes of silence until Jordan spoke up again.
"Kass? Are you sure you want to stay at the stables?" He gave me a quick glance. "...Kass?" I was already deep asleep. He then whispered "I know a spot."
