"Kass!" I heard my brother call. "Time to wake up!"I opened my eyes, confused at first but then I realized what was actually going on. "This can't be happening..." I thought to myself. I stood there for a few moments clearing my thoughts until Xavier bursted into my room. "Mom said if you're not downstairs in 5 you'll be grounded for another week."
It's been already a week since that day but she didn't get past it yet. I sighed and started getting ready trying to forget my strange dream."So, I was thinking, because it's Saturday, Kassy you'll take Prince out first and do some cross-country. You can take the other horses out after. Xavier will train with you too." Mom stated on our way to the stables.
"Sounds good!" I told her. I liked Prince a lot, he's Diamond's father and a very powerful horse but yet so easy to control.Honestly I missed these kind of trainings with Xavier. He really knows how to push me past my limits just like he did this time.
The past few training were getting harder and harder. I couldn't focus, my mind was always wandering somewhere else. I started to get really frustrated because a competition was coming up. "I am never going to be ready for this in these conditions! I have to get him out of my head!" I thought to myself dismounting Prince. Jordan was haunting my thoughts since that night and I couldn't do anything about it.

"Day off tomorrow! I don't know what's going on with you lately but it's certainly not you riding Kass. You're not here present with your mind. I've never seen you so unfocused before."
"Yeah...I know." I sighed. "I'll work on that I promise. See you at dinner! Oh, and this time try and acctually come, we have to discuss the transport for the competition and all that stuff."
"Yeah, yeah don't worry!" Xavier said heading towards the stable. The next morning I planned on sleeping as much as I could but my phone started ringing before the clock hit 8 am. I picked it up bot even looking to who was calling.
"Myeah?" I said in a sleepy voice.
"Why aren't you at the stables?" I recognized Ember's voice asking.
"Good morning to you too darling, taking a day off today." I claimed
"Not even to help me lunge Callista?" Ember begged in a puppy voice.
"Ughh fine." I sighed. "Be there in 5." I sat my phone back down and got up.As I was rushing downstairs I bump into someone.

"Se hvor du skal, du faen!" ["watch where you're going, you f***"]I yell at him.
"Hey! Take that back young lady! I lived with your brother long enough to learn what faen means!" A very familiar voice made me stop. I looked up and a strange feeling warmed my heart when I looked into his sparkly hazel eyes.
I scoffed "What are you doing here so early? You know Xavier is at the gym, right?"
"I came looking for you acctually..." he said fixing his dark hair.
"Oh..." I couldn't keep the surprised look off my face "why?"
"Me and your brother are going to test a new motorcycle I want to buy and I want you to come with us."
"Ohh, uhm...I can't actually. Ember needs my help at the stables." I casually said hiding the excitement in me.
"I don't care. I didn't ask you, I just told you."
I looked at him surprised. He cracked a small smile and added. "Cmonnn I'm not gonna wait for you all day! Call Ember tell her something came up."
I passed him going towards the door and scoffed. "If you think I'm going to bail on my best friend for you...sorry buddy."
"Jeez...ok you have an hour." I chuckled and nodded my head in disbelief then went out the door leaving him there.
