"Max! Max!" Tul yelled and pulled Max's arm, trying to stop him from walking, "Can you listen to me for a second Max!"

"We'll find what you saw, Tultul, I'm not going to let you be disappointed." Max answered as he pulled Tul closer to him and planted a tiny kiss on the latter's nose to let him know that he could trust him and that he will be there to help him find it.

"We don't need to do so..." Tul wrapped his arms around Max's shoulder and placed a gentle kiss on Max's nose as well, turning him into a blushing mess. "Let's go find the angel, babe..."

His heart beating faster as Tul's face moved up even closer to his. He closed his eyes as he felt Tul's slow breath that was softly touching his skin. He slowly inclined his face toward Tul's and let his pillowy lips rest on Tul's honeyed lips. Not only that, but he pulled him closer to him, enfolding him in his arms to get rid of the distance between them. He wanted to protect him with everything he had, he wanted to achieve everything that Tul wanted, and wanted him to be happy, whatever it would take. Being there, at that moment with his man, was the only thing he wanted in the world.

Max didn't want to let down his husband and didn't agree to stop searching for his man, so he tried his best to find what Tul mentioned. They searched for almost an hour before Max gave up. "Are you sure you saw it here?" He turned around asking his man, but Tul was not standing behind him. "Tul?" Max's eyebrows were drawn together, eyes widened trying to see all possible dangers as he looked for Tul through the trees. "Hey! Where did you go?! Tul!!!" he started yelling as he anxiously ran through the trees trying to find traces of his lover. However, no matter what he did, he couldn't find him anywhere.

He was standing in the middle of nowhere, he couldn't think, nor could he come up with a way to find Tul. Maybe he shouldn't have brought Tul near that place, maybe they couldn't see the green smoke he mentioned because it was a trap for Tul. Maybe he should have listened to Yihwa and just followed her to find the angel. And maybe he should have listened to Tul when he told him not to go and find the green smoke's source.

The worst part about all of that was that he couldn't feel him, nor could he listen to anything he was thinking of. He always felt when Tul was scared, sad, happy... he always felt whatever emotion Tul was feeling, but at that time, he couldn't feel anything no matter how much he tried to. He always listened to everything he was hearing when he wasn't around, and see what he was seeing... but not this time...

He didn't want that to happen - losing his soulmate, his everything in such a dangerous forest. Regret was burning his mind and heart, he was unable to think about a way to help his man; how could he help him when he lost him and when he couldn't even feel anything he was feeling? How could he find him when he couldn't see what he was seeing or hear what he was hearing? How can he find out where he is at that moment?

Max searched once again everywhere he could, sweating, his mind was a mess. However, Tul was nowhere to be found. He signalled to Yihwa, using his powers, to hurry and go back to where they all stopped before each going on their own way. She came back with all the others as fast as they all could.

"What happened?" She questioned as she held Max's face to make him look at her; Max panicking and crying was the biggest sign that there was something dangerous and not okay happening. And it was something so rare to see; someone as strong as Max never cries, never breaks down - that's what they all thought - someone as strong as him should not have any weak emotions.

"Tul..." Max's voice was sorrow, his eyes were filled with tears as he looked in Yihwa's eyes trying not to break down; he was the strongest among everyone, and he shouldn't let them all know how weak he was. It was true that he was the strongest wolf, but when it comes to Tul, he becomes the weakest if something bad happened to him. Tul was his weakness, he loved him way too much for a wolf that loves a human and just wanted to protect him and keep him safe.

"Where is he?" Yihwa gently caressed Max's hair as he tried to calm him down.

"I don't know..." he stuttered, "I don't know... he disappeared, and I couldn't find him anywhere... I cannot feel him..."
