"The weekend passed too fast!" Tul whined as he turned to his husband's side to cuddle him before getting up to go to work, unintentionally waking Max up.
Max moved the arm he had behind his head and wrapped it around Tul, pulling him closer to him and planting tiny kisses on his man's forehead. "Morning baby" his sleepy voice melted Tul's heart.
"Morning," Tul's head always resting on Max's chest as he hugged him like a koala hugging his tree. "I'll be late to work..." he pouted as he enjoyed listening to the sound of Max's heartbeats and playing with Max's moon necklace.
"You know that you don't have to work, no?" Max answered as he was gently playing with Tul's soft hair.
"I know, but..." Tul wanted to live like everyone else after all, even though his husband can get him anything. But he wanted to work and be able to afford things he wanted and afford whatever he wanted to give Max on his birthdays and on the holidays.
"You can rest baby Tul," Max planted another gentle kiss on Tul's head "but it's up to you" he added smiling a little.
Tul was silent for a moment before he sat down fast smiling and clapping, startling the poor Max. "What about this?!" He yelled as an idea crossed his mind.
"What is this?" Max was puzzled, he looked at the excited smiley husband in front of him, knowing what was his happiness all about but tried not to show that he knew about it.
"What about, you go to work with me today?" Tul smiled brighter than a child smiling because their grandma gave them candies.
"Huh? Are you sure?" Max acted confused for a few seconds before he replied "Okay!" Max nodded and sat down slowly yawning. "I have nothing to do during the day. But what if your boss will be angry?"
"You don't need to worry about that!"
They entered the office, Tul all smiley and proud that he brought his husband along as all his colleagues were staring at them with open jaws.
"Wow! Hello! Who's this gorgeous person?" Jeff greeted them shocked and wondering who's that walking on Tul's left. "Our new employee?" He asked all flirty, his eyes almost eating Max.
"Not really," Tul faked a smile and gently grabbed Max's hand "that's my husband." He announced as his eyes moved from Jeff towards Max and then from Max to Jeff lifting up his right eyebrow.
"What?!" Jeff couldn't believe "you have a man as pretty as this man as your husband?" He added; everyone at work knew that he's married, but they didn't expect him to be married to such a handsome man.
"Yep," Tul replied and Max was giggling next to him, his cheeks turning all red.
"And he's so cute as well, look at him blushing all of a sudden" Grace, his other colleague, said as she greeted them with her stunning smile before running to her office to answer a call.
"Now excuse me, I have work to do," Tul bowed his head a little.
"coffee?" Jeff offered with a smirk as he looked at Max.
"and my husband is coming with me too." Tul added as soon as he saw Jeff getting closer to his man and being all around him. He grabbed Max's arm and walked away to his office pulling him behind him.
"He's got a yummy husband indeed" Jeff said, smirking.
"Yeah, that's why he looks happy," Grace replied "and don't you dare ruin that for them as you did to Jimmy... I'm watching you..."
"And they've been married for thirteen years," another colleague added.
"They've been in love for ages... ah... love is so beautiful... I miss Apo..." the boss Mile murmured before he noticed that everyone were looking at him trying to understand what he was saying with this low voice. "Now shut up and go to work!" He yelled as he signalled with his hands to their offices for each of them to go and start with what is their business.
When Tul and Max entered the office, Tul was looking so annoyed. He pushed Max to the door as soon as he closed it, sticking his face to Max's before planting a kiss on his nose "Who's that gorgeous person?" Tul mocked the way Jeff was talking before locking their lips together. "Coffee?" His voice getting funnier every time he tried to mimic how Jeff sounded.
"Hm?" Max laughed a little.
"Maybe I should've kicked his ass..." Tul planted another kiss on Max's pillowy lips before he continued "how dare he flirt with my husband..." he felt his ears burning, he felt like pulling Jeff's hair for staring at his man the way he was doing a few moment before.
"You're cute when you're jealous, my husband," Max giggled, pulling Tul closer to him and brushing his lips with Tul's once again.
"Who's cute now?" Tul pulled away from the kiss and went to sit behind his table, he took out the papers he needed to work on as he tried to hide his blushing self.
Max watched him work for hours until he fell asleep, head resting on the table and a tiny snoring sound could be heard from him making Tul smile like an idiot as he did his paperwork and glanced at him every now and then.
