After a long day of trying to convince the manager to give him leave for a month, Tul finally succeeded. He went back home announcing the news to Max and their friends. They packed their things and were about to leave when Tul suddenly exclaimed, "hold on!" startling everyone.

"What's wrong?" Yihwa asked as she approached her friend, "scared, our TulTul?"

"No! I am not!" Tul answered, "how will we go to that weird forest you mentioned?"

"Well, you don't have to worry about that," Max replied, turned into his gorgeous wolf form, and started signalling with his face for Tul to get on his back.

"Oh, I forgot that the man I'm married to is a wolf," he giggled and got on Max's back before everyone left the place, leaving Fai and the angels at home with a few other werewolves protecting them.

Holly potato! What is this creepy place!! Are they sure we need to go there?

A feeble smile curved Max's lips as he turned back into his human form as soon as they arrived in the forest, he gently held Tul's hand and kissed it. "Don't worry, babe, we can do it!" he kissed Tul's hands once again before he looked at the others, letting them know that he trusted every single one of them no matter what happens. Something inside his chest burned, he wasn't sure if it was fear of not finding the angel, or he was anxious about his human husband, or it is what Tul is feeling while with them; Tul being the only human being around a number of wolves and entering a forest like this one for the first time in his life must be the scariest feeling indeed. Even though he acted all strong and powerful, Tul is a human after all.

Max took a deep breath before he started yelling at each of them, as he always did when they went on missions.

"Yihwa!!"

"Ready!"

"Ben!"

"All ready! And handsome" Ben Winked.

"Pavel!"

"Yeah!"

....

Tul was following them, anxiously looking around him. He always thought that forests would be all covered with green colors and pretty animals and all those pretty little details of nature he had in mind. However, Amate Forest was dead black, with no leaves on the branches of the grey trees, spider webs were everywhere, and was barely any sign of a living creature other than the insects that disgusted Tul to his bones. What annoyed Tul the most was the smell of the burning wood, even though nothing was burning there. Did this forest get burned or something that everything here is dead?

Tul raised his hand up to touch one of the trees when it suddenly started to crack and fall apart. What the! Why is it falling?! He was almost hit by one of the branches when Max quickly hid Tul and hit the branch with his hand, throwing it way too far away. "Be careful babe, don't touch anything... It is dangerous here..." he said.

Max started feeling tingling in his fingers as they walked further inside the forest. Something must be happening, he never felt this way before.

AAAHH why do my hands feel weird?!

"Tul, you seem uncomfortable, are you okay?" Max asked, trying not to show the discomfort he was feeling following the tingling in Tul's hands.

"Yeah... but I'm not sure why my hands are itching!!" Tul pouted a little, raised his hand a little towards Max to show him, "it might be some kind of allergy or something... let's keep going." He explained. Painful allergy indeed, hopefully, we'll get out of this ugly place alive...

"Stop!" Yihwa yelled from the back, she continued smelling the surrounding air. " Max, do not continue walking there! We need to change our route!" She started yelling in panicking, her eyes' red colour became even more shining.

Oh, no, I'm not dying today! No, no! Tul noticed the worry on everyone's faces as Yihwa announced that she smelled a new wolf's scent.

"But I don't think they're who we're searching for..." Yihwa continued before pointing to a different road for them to follow her.

This forest is getting creepier and creepier with every tiny step we take. I need a hug right now, I'm so scared...

Max chuckled a little and wrapped Tul in his arms, giving him the warmest, safest hug ever. "You look scared my Tultul," Max planted tiny kisses on Tul's forehead and nose, "We'll be fine, okay? I'm here," he added.

Huhu I have the sweetest hottest wolf indeed. " Okay babe, I trust you."

"Um guys... we're in the middle of the darkest and most dangerous forest in existence, and y'all are flirting right here... in the middle of our panicking!!!" Ben joked, "some of us feel scared and lonely too here, so control your romance please."

They were still walking when Tul noticed someone entering a small hole in one of the huge trees. Eh? There's somebody alive here? " Guys! That tree! Be careful" He announced to the others.

"It's just a normal hole Tul," Ben explained and continued walking behind Yihwa and Max.

Bleh... just a normal hole... I literally saw someone get in there... or is it because I am a human, they won't believe me?

Max stopped walking, he asked the others to continue walking while he walked towards the curious Tul who was trying to find out who was inside the tree. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I saw someone enter here, I'm afraid they will follow us or hurt us," Tul grabbed Max's arm pulling him behind him "look inside,"

Max tried not to disappoint Tul, because he knew that Tul wouldn't lie or make things up. Therefore, Tul said that he saw something, which means he actually saw something. Max checked and tried with every sense he had to find what Tul was talking about. However, he couldn't find anything or feel anything. "I couldn't find anyone Tultul... they might have left already babe, let's go. Don't worry we'll be okay," he smiled as Tul and gently rubbed his nose with the tip of his finger "you know I'm here,"

Tul nodded and followed Max; maybe Max was right, he shouldn't overthink what he saw. Maybe there's a time he would know about that person he saw. But his curiosity was killing him, he really wanted to know if there was anyone in this forest, he wanted to know so bad why would that person hide inside the tree and disappear.
