"He woke up, sir!"

"That's great..."

Tul was always laying on his back, moving his head left and right and trying to find a spot where there is light for him to see. But he failed to find any tiny bit of light. He heard some people talking around him and heard other noises, he wasn't sure what were they nor did he know who were the people around him as it was way too dark; everything was so black with no hint of existence.

"Who are you?" He asked, heart burning and feeling sick as he was anxious. He really wanted to know where he is and who is he surrounded with and why is everything black. "Why can't I see you? Why is it so dark here?"

"Sir! Sir! He's talking again!" A baby like voice, but with an annoying high pitch one, said. And it seemed that the person talking was standing right next to Tul.

"Yeah, I heard him, Bino!" A man with a deep voice answered, making Tul feel even more anxious.

"First symptom is gone, check!" another sound announced with celebration.

Bino? That's a name? Tul thought and tried not to laugh so that the person doesn't think he's mocking them.

"About the darkness..." the deep voice person was back again. His voice was even closer to Tul "it's not dark here at all..." he explained "it's just that you cannot see anything right now because of the spell, you'll be able to see again after an hour of waking up,"

"Spell?!" Frightened, Tul yelled, "so you're telling me you made me blind?!"

"No... it's just a temporary side effect that fades slowly..." the unknown guy gently explained.

"How long will I stay this way?" Tul anxiously asked. He never imagined nor did he ever want to imagine not being able to see in his life.

"It will be a few hours from the time you wake up, and sometimes it takes weeks... and that depends on the person and how strong is their power." The guy answered, while they seem to be busy with something else.

"What power? Ain't I strong enough?" Tul curiously questioned the stranger.

"It's not that kind of power, son..." That anonymous let out a heavy sight before he explained, "the body's strength is not the power we're talking about... as you know, each magical creature or person has their own type of power that makes them outstanding. Just like you..."

"What magical creature you're talking about? I'm just a normal human being." he yelled. Or is it because I'm married to a werewolf they're talking about powers now so that they trick me and hurt my man? He thought.

"Yeah, a typical human being... Yeah... let's see when you open your eyes..." the guy mocked him.

A few more hours passed, and Tul was still not able to see anything, which made him on the edge of losing his temper. It is utterly typical to see a person losing his own vision and going mad, yet it was like a nightmare tormenting Tul with each second, minute, and hour that passed. However, time played its role and succeeded at making him alleviated, for his eyesight was narrowly coming back to him as time passed. He tried to recognize what's around him and who are the people there, nevertheless his eyesight was still cloudy, and everything around him looked fuzzy and not clear, as if his eyes were strained. He could barely see three people walking in all directions; two of them were small, while the third one, and as much as Tul could guess, had a human form.

"Your eyes are moving with me!" that one annoying, high-pitched voice yelled as they approached Tul.

"Are they?" Tul mockingly smiled.
