"Sakura..." Kallen muttered under her breath as she ran towards Shinano, she could see big crowds on her way.

"Sakura." Kallen said as she saw those people hold different types of weapons: swords, polearms, bows, etc.

"Sakura!" Kallen shouted in distress as she saw even more people crowding together.

It seems that the crowd was full of people from different lands, including Shinano. There were some from Shizuoka and even Nakajima. "Shit, Sakura..." Kallen cursed as Nakajima was well-known for its strong army that was led by Fu Hua, the mercenary.

Thinking of which, Kallen spotted Fu Hua standing on a tree stump leading the crowd, "Tomorrow at dawn, we shall take Yae Sakura, the daughter of evil. Once we capture her, we will torture her and then execute you. We must take note of all the tyranny she has done. She ordered her servants to steal from commoners including the poor, slaughtered many innocent people and worst of all, killed everyone from Zipangu. Feel your resentment built up from the past few years and use this anger for tomorrow. Tomorrow we will be one step closer to putting an end to all this chaos."

Loud cheers and be heard from the mob as Fu Hua psyched them up. Kallen hurriedly ran inside the castle. Once she was at the door, she opened the door a bit and to her relief, Sakura was sitting on her throne as per usual. "Thank God she's okay... The revolution is at dawn, right? Sakura knows that a revolution will occur but does not know it will happen tomorrow... Well, it's tomorrow so I can still prepare how to protect her so in the meantime... I'll pretend. To protect her smile just for a little while."

Kallen took a deep breath and headed inside. A loud gasp could be heard from Sakura, "Kallen! You're so bloody! Are you hurt?"

Sakura's concern shocked Kallen, she smiled and answered, "I'm all right, my lady. I'm sorry that you had to see me like this. But as you've ordered, I killed everyone from Zipangu."

Sakura tried to recollect her cold-hearted self and said, "Okay then. Go clean up yourself. You're ruining my floor. And once you're done, its teatime."

Kallen nodded and left, took a shower, and got a new set of clothes. Once she was done dressing up, she sat down on her bed and thought about everything. Absolutely everything. How a revolution was about to occur. How Sakura was about to be captured and executed. How she heartlessly slaughtered a whole nation. The innocent lives she killed. Durandal. "I'm doing this for Sakura. I'm doing this for Sakura. I'm doing this for Sakura."

Kallen kept repeating this to herself but unable to justify her actions, tears finally fell from her eyes. Kallen grabbed her pillow to stop her tears and the sobs coming out from her mouth. "Why am I crying now? I've never cried in a long time. Why now? Why didn't I cry when I killed Dudu and all those innocent people. I truly am heartless. Why?!" Kallen shouted into her pillow.

After a few minutes, Kallen managed to regain her composure as she had to give Sakura her brioches and tea. Kallen forced a smile as she saw Sakura waiting at the garden. "Hmph, what took you so long."

Kallen bowed, "I'm sorry, my lady. But rest assured, these brioches will compliment your tea."

Pang. Kallen felt sharp pain in her heart, thinking of Dudu. Sakura took a bite of the brioche and then squealed and clapped her hands in delight, "This is incredible! Zipangu really knows how to make brioches. Too bad we can't get any more of them."

Sakura's expression suddenly turned serious. Noticing the change, Kallen asked, "What's wrong, my lady?"

Sakura's eyes quivered as she spoke, "I'm scared. I'm so scared Kallen. I heard that they are going to capture and execute me. I'm so scared."

Kallen then went on one knee and held Sakura's shaking hand, "Don't worry, my lady. I will protect you at all costs. Even if the entire world is against you, I will still be by your side and protect you no matter what."

Hearing Kallen's words, Sakura giggled, "You really kept that promise, huh?"

Kallen had a light blush on her face, happy that Sakura remembered.
