Jimmy's POV
We moved to a small town last week and I started school almost as soon as we arrived. It was the same town where I had gone for dinner the other week.

"This is Jimmy," the principal said enthusiastically into the mic. There was silence among the other kids and I began to sweat. What if nobody likes me?

I looked across the hall from the stage, hoping to find someone that I knew, knowing that I wouldn't find anyone, but then, I did. A tuft of blue stood out in the crowd. Scott. The boy I had left the rose for at that café. He was looking right at me, and I blushed.

 I hoped that he couldn't see how red my face was from all the way where he was sitting. Shit! No, Jimmy! You like girls! But you gave him your number.

I walked off the stage and sat down with my new class, the same as Scott's. I hope Lizzie is having a better time in her school. At least she knows someone. 

Her boyfriend, Joel, goes to her new same school. I don't blame her for being half excited when we moved.

Wilbur's POV
"Ummm, I don't know yet."

Shit! I could have said something!

"Oh, ok," Shelby replied. My chest hurt, and I tried to hide my sadness. We walked back to class in silence and I could feel the tension rising. 

However, Scott stayed back in the hall, probably trying to find that Jimmy boy. My mind flashed back to the hall. Scott's face had completely gone red. I hope that he finds what he's looking for...

Shelby's POV
My heart sank when Wilbur replied.

"Oh, ok," I said, trying to cover up my sadness. We walked back to class with Tommy, Scott had disappeared somewhere, so we went without him.

Ping! I grabbed my phone from my pocket and read a message from Discord.

"Oh crap, MCC is on the same day as the dance," I told the others.

"That's alright, we can skip MCC," Wilbur said.

As much as I wanted to go to the dance I had to do MCC. "But I've never missed an MCC in my life! And it's Pride MCC! So I have to take part!"

"What happens if a certain someone asked you to dance?" Tommy asked.

"I don't know. Maybe?" I replied with a blush.

Scott's POV
After assembly, I pushed my way through the crowds to find Jimmy. I looked left and right for him but I couldn't find him. 

I could have sworn he sat down around me. Bonk! I went head to head with a surprised Jimmy.

"H-hi," I stammered. "Nice to see you again."

"Hey," he responded. "I didn't know you went here. You didn't call me,"

"Yeah sorry about that, I did see the rose but I wasn't sure that it was you. Want me to walk you to class?"

He nodded, and we walked off in silence. I looked around for the others, but they had already left. This was going to be interesting...
