𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 the rest of class time to begin the work on the Polyjuice Potion. After all, the potion took much preparation and took a month to craft. That was only guessing someone was able to perfect the potion on the first try, it was a very advanced potion.
A delighted smile passed over Delilah's face as she thought of the password to the Slytherin Common room, it made all the sense now and she had been somewhat right when she formed her hypothesis. How witty.
She gulped as her eyes glanced over to her tall and gloomy partner. His straight and sleek posture had her subconsciously sitting up straighter, dropping her arm as it had been holding her hand up straight.
Most of the time Delilah was able to spin conversation with any person willing enough to participate and listen. Still, she found bees stinging her abdomen even at the thought of speaking to Regulus. The bees had her nails scrapping sharp crescent marks into the old mahogany of the rickety table.
Unknown to Delilah, the scrapping grew louder and louder as she fell into some sort of nerve-fueled trace disturbing the quieted whispers that whistled around the class. Regulus' eyes flickered from his book over to the offending sound. It was as if his worst enemy was barking into his ear. What had him on his last thread was the attention she was earning from their fellow classmates. "Stop that!" He finally snapped, whipping his dark curls in her direction.
