"𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐒?" 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐎𝐑 Sprout called for the what seemed to the class. the hundredth time. With a roll of his eyes, Julius smacked Delilah's side.
Delilah jumped, "Ow!" She exclaimed, slapping her sketchbook shut. The boy pointed forward with enlarged eyes, a smile tipping the edges of his mouth up into his tanned cheeks.
Professor Sprout stood with her hands firmly planted on her hips, a menacing look sat sternly on her face. All eyes bore into the red head as she sunk farther into her seat. The 17 sets of eyes made her skin crawl and unease fester and tire away at her mind. "Yes, Professor?"
The stout woman crossed her arms over her chest, "Perhaps you could enlighten me on the plant the repels Gulping Plimpies?" A single brow disappeared under her floppy hat rather comically, and any other circumstance, Delilah would have laughed. This, however, was no laughing matter. She was in the hot seat.
Her eyes fluttered before the answer appeared in the vast emptiness her mind collected during her daydreaming. "Gurdyroot."
A smile flashed on the old witch's face as her eyes narrowed, "I should have known better than to try and catch you, Evans." Heat crept up the sides of her neck, blossoming her cheeks and ears in bright red. "However, I expect all my students to pay attention in my class. No matter how advanced they may be."
Giggles surrounded her in shame, encasing her in the seat with no escape. "Of course, Professor." Sprout returned to her lecture, pointing out each and every flaw of different plant poison antidotes.
She felt something brush up against her arm, it was a barely there feeling but the observant Slytherin caught it. She slowly turned her head in the direction of the boy beside her. The same boy that had not spoken to her in weeks, leaving her a lonely mess. The only interactions she had were with her sister and her friends along with Regulus Black, though the words had not strayed from the potion.
Julius raised his brows, smirking at her. "Yeah, pay attention, Dals." Those simple words had her beaming. He had forgiven her for her outburst the weeks prior, all she had to do was try and talk to Wendy. Even if she had to plead on her hands and knees for her forgiveness, she would. Delilah missed her far too much to spend a moment longer away from her. Her days within Hogwarts were becoming lonelier with each passing day and not enough of her sister's company could mend her heartbreak. Her time not spent with her sister was wasted away with Regulus, harking on about the potion.
