𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐃𝐑𝐔𝐆 her feet along the cool stone into the Great Hall, her head beating steady as she tried to name different herbs to treat boils.

The Slytherin girl was not the only Hogwarts student suffering greatly from the previous night. The Hufflepuff table in particular seemed very down. Some boys towards the entrance were laid face down in their porridge, a sight Delilah would have laughed at on a normal day.

However, Halloween left her quite immobile. Not a single soul has ever witnessed a hair out of place on the top of her hair, not even her sister. Delilah has prided herself in maintaining her perfect appearance. Today is her only exception. She lugged herself out of bed for a meal. She planned to return to her bed within the hour with letters to her professors saying she felt under the weather. She would expect no suspicion from any of her professors as she attends her classes year-round rather punctually.

She carefully threw a leg over the bench, cradling her head as the thumping found a beat. The sun shining through the towering windows blinded her and her insides twisted. In times like these, she was happy to live in the rooms underneath the Black Lake rather than the Ravenclaw Towers. The blazing rays filtering through the curtains never interrupted her beauty sleep.
