"Lucas. Over. Come in Lucas" Andrea said into the walkie talkie. "It's Andy. Over. Where are you guys, I said twenty minutes. Over. Do you guys hear me? Over. Hello"
"That's not how you use it" Lucas said
"Finally you guys answered! Where the hell are you guys? I'm walking back to the meeting spot"
"Uh we went back to Mike's"
"Why? That was not the plan. And you can't just leave without me, what if something happened to you guys too?"
"We-we got scared and cold so we left" Dustin lied
"well that's just great, I'll meet you guys there"
"No no no no, Lucas is about to leave anyway just go back to your house" Mike rambled
"What? No, Lucas you know I don't want you biking alone and if Sue sees you she'll kill me"
"It's too late he's already out the door"
"You guys are the worst." She said turning off the device and biking home.
The next morning Andrea woke up ready to embrace the day, which wasn't an everyday occurrence for her. She was more excited for the day because at the end of her school day she gets to see Josh. He had a whole thing planned for them. He told her all about last night once she came back home.
Getting dressed for school was the only thing she liked about school. Picking out an outfit let her show off her style. Her style was distinctively hers. Even though it changed every week, it still screamed Andrea Sinclair. She decided to wear a burnt orange top, a jean skirt, and a plaid cardigan to go with it. She put in her gold earrings, added moisturizer to her hair, and put on some lip gloss.
Once she was fully ready she grabbed her backpack and went into the kitchen. She saw Lucas sitting there alone, eating his cereal quietly. "Hey thanks again for leaving me in the woods last night" she whispered angrily at him
"I'm sorry we just had to go"
"Why?"
"We saw something weird and left"
"What was it?"
"Nothing. Just a branch that looked like a person"
"Well you guys should've beeped me at least"
"Again, that's not how it works"
"Who cares? It gets the message across doesn't it"
"Whatever"
"Whatever" she mocked him. She grabbed an apple and downed a glass of water then made her way to the door. "You coming or what?"
"I wanna bike alone" Lucas groaned
"Come on you know your mom will throw a fit, especially with everything going right now"
"Please, I'll be fine"
"Fine. If you say so"
Andrea made it look like she had left and already started her way to school but in reality she just went around the block, then followed behind Lucas from afar, just to make sure he was really going to school and that he made it there safely.
The start of the day was the same as any other. "Good Morning Andrea"
"Morning group" she smiled. "So what did we decide?"
"I still think we should make a collage of pictures that represent us and put them together. That's the easiest way to combine all of our styles" Dottie said
"I agree, and we'll be guaranteed an A."
"Ok sounds like a plan. I just don't have that many pictures of myself, so that might be a little issue" Andrea informed them
