I nodded and gave her one last hug before she boarded the second flight back to Arizona
I wish she could've stayed but our dad couldn't take care of all our siblings by himself
"You guys ready?" Mason asked
And I hummed a yes
We walked out carrying our suitcases and masons dad was waiting for us up front
"What you guys up to today?" Masons dad asked
"Not sure, what do you guys wanna do?" Mason asked
"I'm kinda tired" Brooke spoke up
"Yea" I agreed
"Maybe we can just hangout at the house and do something later" miguel suggested
Everyone nodded in agreement and masons dad drove us home
We got down our suitcases and I took mine to Brooke's room while miguel took his to Miguel's
As I was placing my suitcase on the air mattress Brooke slams the door shut behind us making me turn my head
"JESUS BROOKE" I yelled
She ran over to me and placed both hands on my shoulders shaking
"WHY WOULD U SAY NO, YOU KNOW U LIKE HIM"
"Who???" I obviously knew who she was talking about but... if I said him she would probably say I'm thinking of him
"MASON" I slapped my hand on her mouth
"Be any louder, would ya?" She shook her head knocking down my hand, she pushed me down and made me sit
"Mason.." she whispered
"What about him?"
"You told him u don't like him" she remarked annoyed
"Brooke we're just friends."
"Oh my god.. not this again he has said he likes you, and you like him. JUST ASK HIM OUT"
Her statement made me think, does he like me? I felt my cheeks go red a little, obviously not, Brooke is just trying to feed me into her delusions. I shook my head and stood up starting to unpack my bags
"Brooke.. just stop, I know your just trying to get me to confess and we'll it's not going to work, we're just friends... Mason could never like me like that. I'm.. Miguel's sister"
"AND IM HIS SISTER SO HEAR ME OUT WHEN I TELL YOU HE LIKES YOU" at this point she was practically begging
I let out a sigh "Fine, if I hint at the fact I like him,... in front of him and He.. idk confesses his so called "true love" for me I'll give you 100 bucks" I finally caved
"Your really that serious he doesn't like you?" She raised a brow
"Yea"
"Alright your loss" I turned and shook her hand in agreement
"Okay we'll I'm gonna go change" I grabbed some clothes and went inside a bathroom to get changed
